I am by no means an Apple Fanatic who owns only Apple Products and thinks Apple can do no wrong. I enjoy the innovation and creative choices other brands make with their products! But there is no denying that what Apple is doing with their watch line just works, and works really well. The Series 6 is their latest attempt to win every every wrist they can and its a really good attempt at doing so! PROS: - Unboxing and Set-Up is really a breeze! Of course you need an iPhone to do so, but you can set up almost everything from your phone and its pretty quick. Very easy overall set up that I don't think anyone will have issues with. - The Watch itself is just beautiful. I purchased the silver model because I personally like the silver accent with the black watch face. Although you can tell its still an Apple Watch, I think Apple has done a good job making them look elegant. - The screen really is gorgeous. It's bright, has crisp definition, and makes use of the whole screen. The always on display feature really is an easy way too always see your information without having to the full power of the display. - I won't get into this too much, but the Series 6 continues to do well what previous Apple Watches do. It has smart phone notifications, you can take calls/texts from it, has fall detection, 911 alerts, you can swim/dive with it on, and just so much more. - The Series 6 comes with Blood Oxygen and ECG monitoring, and they both really work well! With Blood Oxygen, you need to have your opposite hand's finger on the crown of the watch for 30 seconds but I have had no issue getting a reading every time! Although some people may not care about Blood Oxygen and ECG, I really think that the more a Watch can monitor for you, the better your chances are to stay healthy and catch any health issues you may have. - The Series 6 also comes with another new feature which is sleep tracking! So far, I think its really beneficial to get those sleeping statistics. I have no issue wearing the Apple Watch all night as I think its comfortable and if I wake up I can easily check the time. - Of course, the Series 6 is excellent at tracking your fitness throughout the day. Tracking the steps you take all day, making sure you stand up and move frequently, and pushing you to accomplish your Workout goals everyday. Also at the time of this review, Apple's new Fitness+ service is not out yet but I am very much looking forward to this when it comes! I think it was a brilliant idea. - Lastly, I think an important part of a fitness/health tracking watch is having a great phone app to view all the information. And Apple's Fitness and Health apps are truly well done. It really is a beneficial way to keep track of everything you do. CONS: - Just like most Apple Products, my biggest issue with the Series 6 is it's inability to play well with others. You can only use it with an iPhone and although I understand not wanting to use it with an Android, I wish you could use it with an iPad. I just think it would be beneficial to see all your fitness and health stats on a larger iPad screen. - Just like previous Apple Watches, the Series 6 still can only charge using an Apple Watch charger. You can not use a Qi wireless charger like you can with iPhones and Android phones these days. It would be a lot more functional if it could be universally charged on any wireless charger. - The Series 6 allows you to use Apple Music without having your phone with you, but I wish they allowed the same ability with other music services like Spotify. - Apple's Fitness App & Health App are two different Apps. Although both apps are fantastic, I with they were combined into one to see all your stats in the same place. BOTTOM LINE: - One of the basics of a tech product is you want it to do what its supposed to really well, while also improving your life. It's hard to find issues with the Series 6 when everything it does, it does really well. From having great smartwatch features, to helping you achieve fitness goals, to tracking your health/sleep, and just being a beacon of information without having to use your phone. If you have an iPhone and want the absolute best smartwatch experience, I don't think you will find anything better than the Series 6!

This watch has been a total game changer for me, even more because it guards my health as well. Originally I bought it to help keep track of my heart rate due to some A-Fib episodes. However it does much more: tracks exercise I enjoy: running, aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Cycle etc...Helps me locate my iPhone (more times than I ever imagined I would need it) plays music on my Air Buds for me while I workout and connects to the stereo in my car as well.

Love my Apple Watch! Got this as part of a senior health program, so my heart rate, exercise, etc could be tracked. Now, I rely on it to count my steps, keep track of exercise, check heart rate, time runs, etc. it’s simply and easy to use. Highly recommend

the apple watch is one of the best smartwatches i've owned and i've owned a few. i love the integration with the apple ecosystem. the watch works seamlessly with your iphone, ipad and macbook pro. i love how i can unlock my macbook pro just by wearing my watch. my most used tasks are taking calls, responding to messages and viewing notifications. the watch looks nice. you can easily swap bands and there are a million different styles out there to suit your fashion. i wish there were more faces, but the ones currently available are very good and customizable. its waterproof...i shower with it and swam with it (pool and ocean). battery life is good, but i wish it was better. as an active user you will drain your battery in a day. so this means that you have to charge it once sometime during the day so that you can take advantage of all the features (sleep tracking, stand hours, etc). when it comes to fitness the apple watch has improved my fitness. on a daily basis my micro goals are to close all my rings. i didn't have that with fitbit. fitness tracking is very accurate and you can start workouts manually or automatically. and the data that your watch keeps integrates with practically any app out there. Stava, RunKeeper, Zwift...you name it and you can get data in or out. there is so much to love about the apple watch, but i will end it here and say that if you just want a smart watch, this does it all but if you want more such as fitness and integration with other apps you can do that as well.

This watch saved my life. Literally. One month after I started wearing it I had a hard fall and was knocked unconscious on concrete steps. When I didn’t respond to the watch’s alarm sound it sent a 911 to EMS. An officer was sent to look for me. He found me and called an ambulance. I was very fortunate. Very few people use the steps I tripped on and my husband wasn’t expecting me home for a few hours. No matter your age anyone can take a fall. Set up a regular schedule for charging your watch every day and wear it! I hadn’t worn a watch in a decade so was apprehensive about the comfort and set-up of a smart watch. I didn’t need to be and neither should you. I found this Apple Watch very comfortable from the get go. I have a women’s medium frame and the 40mm is the perfect size. The Sport band is soft, comfortable and easy to put on. Also, it appears sturdy enough to last a lifetime. Don’t forget you also get the Apple Fitness+ free trial as a bonus. Three months from Apple followed by three months from Best Buy. Six months. That’s an amazing deal. You need to invest in this Apple Watch today! The Apple Watch was very easy to set up and learn to use. You can take your phone and watch to the store where you purchased either one or take it to the business where you get your cell service, if you purchased them online as I did. They will all help you with initial set-up if you need guidance. The online manual and support will help you with all the amazing features.

Two and a half years later, it’s great. I absolutely love it. Wish the battery life was longer but not a huge deal.

I was planning on getting the new Apple Watch Series 7 when it’s released. But I decided to purchase this after all rumors are pointing to the Series 7 only having a redesign and better battery life with no new health features. What ultimately made my decision was the fantastic deal Best Buy had on the 40mm in Red for $250. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I love everything about this smart watch. I especially like keeping track of my exercise routine. I feel more accountable and try to close all three rings. The clarity of the phone feature is great. Doesn’t sound like I’m talking on a watch. I highly recommend this watxh!

I have had this watch for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it!!! From tracking my steps to my workouts and even my sleep habits (when I actually remember to charge it before I go to sleep haha) it has been something that I have come to love having to track my progress with!! I have gotten a few scratches on part of the screen but that’s just me not paying attention at work but I’ve gone swimming with my watch and it’s still going!

Happy with this apple watch - it's held up for runs and swimming (triathlon training), and seamlessly works with my phone and ipad (for Apple Fitness+). I also like the ability to build a custom face with the apps/widgets you need most on one screen. Battery lasts the entire day.

Two things I am rating here - the actual watch, plus Best Buy’s item quality when it comes to refurbished or open box items. I bought the Apple Watch 6 as an “open box” item, which was described as being in “satisfactory condition”. Other than the box not being sealed, some of the accessories having been loosely repackaged and the watch face not having a protective film on, there were no differences in the quality of the product. No marks, no scratches and fully functional. Definitely worth the almost $100 price difference. Thanks Best Buy for offering those options at the local stores, especially with such a high quality product. I have purchased open box/refurbished from a popular online retailer before and it was disappointing both times, as the items had limited functionality. About the actual watch - I am generation “rotary dial” and this watch is easy to use. What I love about it - 1. Adjustable font size - makes it easy to read display/text. 2. Being able to answer calls from the watch - don’t have to go run and find the phone, or stop what I am doing. 3. I don’t have to keep checking my phone - I see notifications as they come in. 4. The exercise feature - haven’t fully explored it, but the functions I am using remind me to keep it moving. And there is sooo much more... I was hesitant to get a smart watch, everything seemed so small an complicated. Well, it isn’t. Total game changer.

This watch is my best friend. I bought it back in 2021 and it has not failed me yet. I wear it every day and I use it more than I use my phone! If you're on the fence about getting an Apple Watch, just buy it. You will use it all the time.

This was a trade in I got with my old Apple Watch and can’t regret it, love the updates and use it everyday, can’t wait to trade it in for the newer version! I just love apple products.

I sleep with my watch on to track my sleep but the battery charges in less than an hour and enough to make it 24hrs.

I am liking my Apple watch. This is the first one I've owned. I like the health features, such as the Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen monitor. Also like that it has the SOS and fall features. Love that since it's paired with my iPhone I can take a call without removing my phone from my purse. It's a fun little watch. There are different watch faces that you can choose to personalize it. The butterfly watch face changes butterflies every time I check my watch and they even flutter. It can also be set up to look like a traditional watch and has a variety of more masculine watch faces too. Lots of fun options. I bought the smaller of the two sizes and still can read messages and e-mail but if you are going to use that feature often you might want to go with the bigger size. At first it felt big and bulky but now that I'm used to it it's comfortable and I don't even know I'm wearing it. I sure do miss it if I forget to put it on though!

Bought this open box at a good discounted price fir my wife. She loves since it’s an upgrade from series 3. Red color is very nice. The only this is can’t buy apple care through BestBuy so you have to call apple and get it through them

I love this Apple Watch and the features. I got a great deal on mine for around 270$ on sale from bestbuy. I hate the color red though and I bought a new band and watch face for it. It covers it well but absolutely everything including the dial on the watch is red so it’s challenging to cover and you can still see some red come through the bottom, slightly where the band is,and the dial but the watch face I got works well for it so I’m happy. It beats an extra 200 on the price tag.

Love this watch! Bought it as an open box item and was happy to save the $50. Always wanted an Apple Watch and it lives up to the hype. I’ve been tracking my sleep, heart rate, and I’ve added the Apple Fitness to lose some “Covid” weight. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I think it’s definitely worth the extra cost for the 6 over the SE.
