Love This Watch

I'm still learning all that it can do. It works great for monitoring all your activities. On my bike rides it not only tells run time but average speed, Altitude, Heart rate and more. Very impressed with this Time Piece. I purchased one with cellular capability. Its great for Safety without Phone on long rides.

I chose the cellular option as a, just in case, option for her, but truth be told, unless you’re establishing a line to use this device as a primary communication device, it is not needed. As a teacher she may not get great cellular service in her school, and that would translate to her Apple Watch. Nice to have that option just in case but it is really not needed.

The new crash detection call a emergency services when you might need it most. The cellular function is useful on walks, at the gym or when you don't want to have your iPhone with you. Cons: You'll have to recharge the battery every day

Just what my family (and doctors) ordered!

I am also handicapable and sometimes prone to falling and this watch will call for help if I happen to knock myself out or otherwise cannot get up. The battery life is awful but I knew that going in. The watch itself is great as are the features.
