The Apple Watch Ultra 3 performs well as a smartwatch. The larger size sits comfortably on my wrist and works with many bands. For outdoor use, the watch delivers strong performance. I hike often, and the rugged build and navigation tools meet my needs. The battery life has exceeded my expectations, even when I use the map and compass during long hikes. I am satisfied with the purchase, and I recommend this watch to others.

The new 3,000-nit LTPO3 display is a game changer. It’s incredibly bright in direct sunlight, and the wider viewing angles make it much easier to glance at your metrics during a workout without twisting your wrist. Safety First: The addition of Satellite SOS and messaging provides massive peace of mind for hikers and trail runners. Being able to send a "check-in" text without a cellular signal is a top-tier safety feature. Battery Life: The bump to 42 hours (and 72 in low power) means I finally stopped charging it every single night. The improved fast charging—80% in 45 minutes—is the icing on the cake. Been an Apple Watch user and fan since 2016. Upgraded to the Ultra 3 and it’s the Beast of Apple Watches! The associates at Best Buy were the best with the help of all questions I had in regards in making the decision to go with the Ultra! I will continue to purchase all my apple products and other electronics at BestBuy!

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is a compelling flagship smartwatch—especially for those who expect more than “just a watch.” It excels when pushed toward its limits: outdoor adventures, remote areas, safety demands, and deep health tracking. If I were advising a prospective buyer: • If you don’t already own an Ultra-level watch, and you spend time outdoors or in remote settings, Ultra 3 is a powerful all-in answer. • If you already own an Ultra 2, the decision to upgrade depends heavily on whether you value satellite connectivity, marginal battery gains, and new health alerts. • For general users mostly in urban settings, many of the Ultra 3 capabilities may go unused—and you might get close to your needs with a less bulky, less expensive model. In my use, it’s been a worthwhile companion—especially when I ventured beyond reliable coverage. But the tradeoff of size, cost, and real-world battery demands means it’s best suited for users who will leverage its full potential.

Battery life is great! Display is great! Ease of use is great! The only knock on the watch is the band. its not super comfortable and kind of a pain to use.

Battery life is amazing 4-5 days run time with minimal connectivity to phone, I bought this strictly for the health tracking and sensors. Notifications and apps are great as always. It has at least double the run time of the normal series watches. Only down side is it’s bulky, quite a bit thicker than my wife’s series 10.

The watch corrects everything and more over my Apple Watch Series 3. As I am swiping on this ultra watch, I am not swiping away accidentally new notifications. That was my problem with my old watch. The battery life is excellent. I went over 3 days without charging!

I have had Apple Watch’s since they first came out. I have always loved them. The ultra 3 is perfect. The 5g works so much better with connectivity compared to the ultra and ultra 2. The battery life on this watch is amazing! You can’t go wrong with an Apple Watch and the durability of this one is stellar.

This is my second Apple Watch. My complaint with the first one which was a 2nd gen watch, was the battery. I hate having to charge every day and hoping I don’t run out mid way through the day. I went with Garmin Fenix 7 and love the watch; however, it doesn’t do the things the Apple Watch does. Garmin finally came out with one that does almost everything the Apple Watch does, however, it is $300 more than the Apple Watch Ultra. The Ultra has a much better battery than previous generations. It was touted to be able to go up to 3 days between charges. I decided to try the Ultra because of the $300 savings and because of all it will do. To date, and I’ve had the watch for two weeks, I can go 2 1/2 days between charges if I leave everything on and use it fairly often. If I am exercising a lot and using the gps functions, I get 2 days out of it. Another good thing is the rapid charge with the Apple. If I put it on the charger for 15 minutes in the morning, I have enough charge to last until the next morning. Still kind of tied to the charger compared to the 29 days my Garmin gave me. So far I’m pleased with it the Ultra: however, that being said, if Garmin lowers their price I may go back to the new model as it does almost the same thing as the Apple Watch. If Apple improves their battery life and starts competing with Garmin, I will stay with the Apple. For now, love the watch and am satisfied - for now.

This is my second watch ultra. Had the ultra 2 and this watch have better battery life. Screen is bright when it needs to. Pretty happy with this purchase.
