Love the larger screen & battery life. It's nice to be able to go 3 days without charging. This watch is amazing. I have owned an Apple Watch since the 2nd generation. And of all the watches I have owned this one is the one to own. Although if you have a 7 or 8 no sense upgrading unless you truly need the bigger screen, longer battery life and will utilize the water and climbing features. I was fortunate with a few weeks of release Best Buy had a one day sale for $170 off (on the ugly band). Now I have the new Ultra 2 with no regrets. Can't wait to use the water and dive features. Thanks for the deal Best Buy you have one very happy customer.

It’s really good. Except the price point, this is the Watch that everyone could ever wish for. I’m not an athlete of any sort but this Watch does everything better. I go to gym without my iPhone. It lasts easily with listening to music via AirPods while streaming music over cellular. At work, I barely touch my iPhone since this is handy enough to make quick replies to my wife and take quick calls since I’m always with my AirPods. Even minute things like looking at calendar for the next event etc is easy with this watch because of the bigger screen. In a way this has helped me to not open social media apps every half an hour.

I thought it was going to be to heavy and bulky, and not at all. Great on the water, gives temperature and depth really accurate. Using it as a phone is very practical in many situations and you can hear it perfect and people can hear you perfect. It has started tracking my workout even when I forgot to turn it on. The bigger size makes it easier on many of the functions. The faces are great and the main face can change to night mode very easy. Tha lamp function is very bright.

I received the AWU as a Christmas present from my beautiful wife. Finally, Apple has produced a Watch that I felt offered enough of an upgrade to the AW Series 3. Yes, Watches since the 3 have great new features, larger, brighter screens etc. but functionally and aesthetically I found all of them to be too similar to what I already owned to buy a new one. The Ultra is a large watch but it feels like the screen size finally allows you to legitimately perform actions that previously could only be done on a smart phone: text, dial phone numbers, read emails, view photos etc. I have a medium sized wrist (around 7 inches circumference) and this is a perfect size for me. The Trail Loop band is incredibly soft and comfortable. The exclusive Wayfinder face is fantastic and the ability to turn it all red with a twist of the crown transforms it into a timepiece that any Sith Lord would be proud to wear. Battery life is excellent but honestly, I charge it every day out of habit anyway. It seems it would last a couple days between charges but if you’re needing an extreme watch with a few days worth of charge, this isn’t the watch for you. I work out but I’m not an extreme athlete. I wanted this beauty because of the looks, screen size, tough titanium and sapphire glass construction, improved battery life, wayfinder face, etc. All in all I am thrilled with the Ultra and won’t need to look for an upgrade for another five years or so. I would strongly recommend you try this watch on your wrist in person. Most photos online are taken phone cameras that distort the dimensions and make it look comically large. In reality, it’s a great size and it may be perfect for you.

Battery life is by far the biggest pro of this watch. It easily lasts me 2+ days with multiple workouts each day and tracking my sleep. I really like the new larger, flat screen as well because it makes reading notifications and controlling workouts easier. The only con is that the flat titanium ring around the screen can scuff up easily so be careful with what metal comes in contact with it if you want to keep it scratch free.

This watch is a game changer. The battery life, the durability along with the aesthetics is what sets this watch apart from others. There have been complaints from various people that the watch is too big. The watch in my opinion is not big or heavy at all. I get multiple compliments

An Apple user since around 2010 in college, I decided to test drive a preowned Apple Series 3 last year, and this year, bought the vehicle. Cellular for me is worth the price as the truest freedom and use of the Apple Watch is worth it, being able to take a walk and disconnect from the larger screen but being connected to the music, books, and podcasts we use to do so! Eager to go to work, walk around the neighborhood, and even roll an entire day without worry of a dead battery, this is the closest thing I've come to not having an iPhone. Truly, for up to four days, I've left it at home. All of the benefits of staying connected without lugging a brick with you. The weight of the Ultra is comparative to my Series 3, but the speed, durability, build, updated aspects, worth the weight in gold. Considering a loaded Series 8 with Cellular is just a bit less, (on Apple senses) it was worth the price. It works so well for me, I may just upgrade the watch instead of the phone from now on. Other than that, I do miss taking photos from my iPhone, but that just lets me live in the moment more.

Not sure what can be said by me that hasn't already been said in other reviews and major publications - but hands down, this is the ultimate Apple watch and a major upgrade over my previous Series 5. I opted for the Ultra because of its fitness and activity focus and have been impressed from the get go. The dual GPS is scary accurate, the amount of customization for workouts is pretty much endless and the battery life is truly insane. For the battery life alone, I think the additional cost is worth it. But add in the extra screen real estate, the increase in brightness and overall feel - and this watch is the apex of any other wearable out there. While for many I'm certain that the Series 8 offers many of the same features and will meet the needs of most people and a much less price point, the Ultra takes that concept one step further for the adventure/activity enthusiast.

Absolutely the most amazing watch I’ve ever owned. Since series 2 I’ve had the lot. This one is top tier, vibrant screen, great wrist feel, comfortable band ( I got the trail) I work with my hands in tight spaces and have no fear of grease, dirt, water, or smashing it against metal. My hand sustains more damage than this watch. When I do bend my wrist I find I hit the activity button a lot, so I’m always in that screen while propping my weight on a bent wrist. But the raised crown and button plateau is great and removed that problem on previous models. I’m glad I spent the extra coin on purchasing this watch, and I rarely do reviews but just had to because it deserves it. But without fear!

I am absolutely in love with this watch! It was definitely worth the money spent. The large face and extra side button are great features that I use every day - whether I'm cycling, working out, sending a quick text, or checking my notifications. Honestly, I wouldn't change my decision to buy it for anything.

This thing is great, the battery life lasts about 3 days of use, so give or take 12 hours a day, which is super nice because i dont have to charge it every night. The screen is huge which is great for me but not so great for my wife who wanted one as well, she’ll just go with the 45MM series 9. I would highly recommend this model over the ultra 2 as the ultra 2 isnt really that much different, i guess if you have to have that brighter screen then go for it but otherwise its pretty much the same device. Will probably get the ultra 3 if they add something really cool to it

I upgraded from an Apple watch 6 and am very happy. The Ultra is heavier, but once its on my wrist, i dont notice the weight as much as i thought i would. The battery life is much improved and i can now go two days before i charge the watch. The GPS and calorie count also seem much better with the Ultra. This watch may not be for everyone, but im happy i upgraded. As for the watch band, i love the velcro, but the band isnt stretchy at all. Overall, i will say the watch band is much nicer than i thought it would be.

The Apple Watch Ultra is a definite upgrade from the regular Apple watch. Bigger, easier to read screen. Louder speaker. Very light weight. Better battery life. I get two full days of battery life. The watch band is stylish, however I know it won't last long. The material is beginning to fray a bit. It's no good getting wet because it absorbs water and must be dried with a towel.

Been truly loving this time piece from apple for almost 8 months now. It has been scracth free despite multiple dings now and then, thanks to Titanium casing!. The bigger dial just the right fit. It has all the ingredients that finally made me love (its my 3rd apple watch and the first one thats managed to stick to my writst) and use apple watch and its features, thanks to long battery life!. If you have had love / hate relationships with apple watch, this watch is for you!

first time buyer of an apple watch and I am still learning all of its features and how to best use them. the screen size is good and the battery has good life span before a recharge. i prefer this one compared to the apple watch 8 that i got for my wife. it does take some time getting use the weight and the strap. youtube insights on all features.

Excellent battery life - love the larger screen. Heavier that older Apple watched, but doesn’t feel like it. Improved sound and microphones.
