The one without Apple care slipped out my gfs ear while she was baking and landed on the oven for a second. There is melted cosmetic damage I would have to pay over 90$ to fix. With Apple care I don’t have to care or worry about what happens to my airpods at all. Big relief compared to owning the uninsured ones I’m self conscious about.
