You have to spring for the AppleCare+
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m one of those people who never bothered to spend the extra few dollars for anything, including the extra piece of mind that AppleCare+ brings until a few years back when I had an AppleWatch blow up on me that had been a gift years before from a by then ex-boyfriend. Because it had been purchased with the Care, Apple through Best Buy completely fixed it good as new (there was maybe 2 weeks left on the AppleCare+ “policy” or whatever too, and this was a model several years old- it still works great after many years). That changed my mind forever on the subject. Well worth it, and I figure air pods- the related purchase for which I am writing the review- will have a high likelihood of being lost, stolen or broken. Definitely is going to be needed!

I was very nervous buying the headphones for my 17 year old because he has a knack of every set he buys just stop working. He is not careless with them, but maybe overuses them? Or has an electromagnetic field in his head or something. With the warranty I am not as worried about throwing away money.

Apple Care + never disappoints

Since this is a "on the go" product, things like headphones benefit the most from coverage, such as this. We've used this coverage on each family member's Air Pods, for various issues that have came up. Each time, Apple has either replaced 1 Air Pod, or both, or all of it (case & Air Pods).
