    I purchased the AppleCare plan for my iPad Air2 to just have that extra peace of mind. It's nice to have it covered beyond the manufacture defects.

    If you are going to invest several hundred dollars for the equipment, it doesn't make sense not to have it insured for issues that sometimes arise.

    Even if you keep the device at home there is too much that can go wrong. But especially if it travels with you this plan is a must have

    iPads have a history of being used so much that it undergoes common falls and damages. with the protection plan, it gives me a little less to worry.
