    I've had to use apple care once for a ipad and apple took care of it and gave me a new one in store no problem.

    Once had an iPhone with no Apple care. Only need to bump your head once to know Apple care is a must.

    I have not used AppleCare for this iPad yet. However, I have used it for my AppleWatches and iPhone in the past. Apple sent return boxes via FedEx and I received replacements inside of a week which are still covered by AppleCare. Some experts may say it’s a waste of money not when you need it and do not have it. Most non-covered Apple repairs cost as much as a new device in a lot of cases. Get AppleCare and call it a day.
