AppleCare is a decent deal and good insurance. Two years of extended coverage gives some peace of mind.

Just love iPads. This is the third one I've owned and this one is awesome! The clarity is great. Speed is fast and very reliable. You can't go wrong when buying Apple products. The support is great if you should have any issues. I needed very little help; however, when I did, the support was awesome!

Get the Apple Care!!! We had to buy a brand new ipad after our last one completely died after 13 months (JUST outside of the 1 year warranty). We did not buy Apple Care for it because we have never had any problems with our products before and we (husband) didn't think it was necessary. Anyway, won't make that mistake again!

I have used my apple care a few times on my iPhone and ipad2. Its a good protection to have for the price.

I was a Windows user for decades and finally became so frustrated that I switched to Apple. I have to say Apple Care personnel are smart, polite, and able to communicate--a lost art these days. I have peace of mind knowing that I have tech support at the ready from Apple Care and would never go back to Microsoft products!

We have not added AppleCare for our other devices, but this 128 gb iPad for a young teen just screamed the need for it. Kids at 13 are still learning the proper way to care for electronics, and since she takes it to school, friends' homes, play practices, etc., I felt we would be looking at disaster without AppleCare. So far so good, and I am hoping this is one gift that never needs to be used, but if it is, we're covered!

I have been fortunate that I haven't had to use Apple Care on this particular purchase but I have in the past and can't say enough about it. Really streamlines fixes when the product is out of the standard warranty and while Apple doesn't say so, I honestly think they give you a bit better (of their already exceptional) service even when it's in warranty. Always worth the money to have
