    Having had apple care in the past it is one of those things you don't think about until you need it - and when you do having the apple care is really simple - take your device into apple, if it is a design flaw ie wifi stops working, apple replaces it right then and there... if you dropped it and damaged it... apple replaces it for a small fee... but you walk out with a working device - really a great deal

    It is reassuring to purchase Apple care, especially I am giving the iPad to my dad as a present and he is overseas so this is a good protection. We haven't had to use it but it is a safe measure.
