Getting the two-year iPad care plan what is a good way to have some peace of mind buying new electronics.

Always use protection!! Given the cost of electronics it would be silly nit to get the extended plan.

I always buy the extended warranty for electronic items. And it has paid for itself more than once. No questions asked. Best Buy makes good on its warranty.

ApplceCare is a must for business users and those who tend to be rough on equipment. While it is true that Apple products are very well made, and you rarely have issues with them within the warranty period, it might be worth it to buy AppleCare if you travel with the devices or tend to not be careful with them. The decision should be based on whether you think service will be needed after the warranty period. I would recommend it for certain types of users, but not all.

I purchase Apple Care for every Apple product I purchase. I have never been disappointed with my purchase the the care/warranty Apple Care offers.

Do not buy an iPad without purchasing the AppleCare. It extends your coverage and support by 2 years and can save you a ton of money on repairs and replacement.
