Reluctant at first....

Since my new phone is glass on the front and the back, the potential for something to break is huge. We learned it could cost hundreds of dollars to replace the back of the phone!! With the protection plan, the replace cost significantly lower. I should mention I am always careful with phones in the past and have never damaged one. Seems like it’s a good idea for new phones that are built to charge wirelessly.
