Easy to install, hook up to home network easy. The reply to person at door is dependant on network congestion if you ware not at home.

We already have several Arlo Pro 2 cameras at our house. I thought this would be a good addition. Our old doorbell chime went out so we bought the chime add-on as well. The doorbell is nice as we have it paired with a camera right above our front door. Their is a video delay of a few seconds so the audio option is really pointless for us. The one improvement would be to disable to audio reply the doorbell has a default. This is listed by many customers on the Arlo forum so I expect it will be provided soon.

I WOULD GIVE THIS DOORBELL A 5, BUT THERE IS A DELAY IN THE RING AND BEING ABLE TO RESPOND TO THE PERSON AT THE DOOR. FOR THE COST, IT'S OK.

I love it and just purchased the video version. This is easy to install and really nice having. Highly recommend.

I have had this for about 6 months now. When someone rings the doorbell and I am at work, sometimes it calls my phone and other times it does not, but overall the feature does not work as intended. Don’t waste your money, get a video cam doorbell instead. Only feature that works well is the motion detection.

When paired with one of my Arlo Pro 2 cameras, this system is exactly what I've been looking for. Easy to setup, and start using.

First, be careful because there is an audio doorbell and a video doorbell. This is just the audio doorbell which DOES NOT take video. The idea is that you already have another Arlo camera that this doorbell triggers when someone approaches it, or rings the doorbell. Second, it works pretty well for its intended purpose, assuming you already have another camera that you can point at the door in order to see who's ringing the bell. We use this doorbell for two purposes: 1) When someone rings the doorbell, it calls my phone and automatically let's me talk to the person at the door. Additionally, we have a separate camera on the front door, and when this doorbell calls me, it automatically displays the video from that separate camera. 2) We use the motion sensing on the doorbell to trigger the Arlo chime (sold separately, of course) to play a recording of a bunch of dogs barking. That works pretty well, and it's worth the purchase just for that. There are a couple of negatives. The control panel for the doorbell on the arlo website is pretty good, though you can tell that it's not quite ready for prime time. My hope is that with a few more updates, it will be much better. The controls for the audio doorbell on the mobile app is really really limited, though. Just be prepared to mostly use the website when you want to configure the audio doorbell.

Device works great but setup had a glitch that customer support couldn’t figure out. I figured it out while on the phone with support. Bottom line is if the chime on your existing doorbell doesn’t work/respond correctly during setup, complete the setup anyways, and then after setup is complete it should work correctly despite the failure during setup. So even if you don’t hear the chime, click that you did hear it during the setup test, and mine worked at the end of all that.

I love this. It works excellent when paired to an Arlo camera. I love that delivery persons can just press it and walk away and my cell phone rings and I know I have a package or I can look on my camera and see if its someone at my door. You can talk thru the speaker if you want. I am very pleased with this.

Works well with the system but can take as long as 25 seconds to answer and then there is a lag in the video. Most visitors (delivery) don’t wait 1/2 a minute for responses so this turned out to be more frustrating than helpful. Works but not realistically useful

Easy installation and setup. Hoping to have a built in camera on it. But it can easily paired to an arlo camera.

This door bell is functional and works great. It runs off batteries so the jury is out on how long it lasts.

this is a good product i just wish it had a camera built in instead of me haveing to setup anthoner camera

It is a decent doorbell, would have been perfect if it works consistently with camera but has a lot of bugs, maybe arlo will do an update and fix the technical issues but not to bad paired with chime even though chime and doorbell should be one package and less expensive!

Overall the doorbell was a good purchase. I had a gift card and probably wouldn't buy if I had to pay fullprice. The installation was a bit tricky but once I worked out the kinks the product works as advertised. I haven't hooked up my arlo camera yet to sync with the doorbell so only using it as a chime right now. I do get a phone call when someone rings the doorbell which was nice- especially when expecting packages.
