Arlo essentials are the best cameras

You can use them for indoor or outdoor as long as they are in a covered area. I use my Arlo camera for both indoor and outdoor. They work grate. I’ve had no issues so far. They recorded grate. There’s no lags or recording errors. Another plus is that you don’t need a Arlo smart hub. Which is a great money saver. Just make sure they say Arlo essential. I give Arlo a big shout out for there amazing products P.S. the videos are clear and you can zoom in from about 50ft or so to see letters on a license plate with no problem seeing it. The letters are clear as day.

I took advantage of the sale they had, and along with my money back, I was able to get it at a huge discount. It's easy to install; setup is done via the Arlo app.

First, make sure your current wifi connection and routers support adding 2.4GHz from the potential 5GHz network you may run. I had to purchase and change my router of only a year old. Once paired and connected, the cameras were not very responsive, either wireless or on cellular. They worked well when they were connected and operational. This was about 20-30 percent of the time. I've had to reset there cameras 5-6 times in the past month due to disconnection from the wifi. I wasn't able to connect when at home or when out and about. Every few days I would need to reset them to be recognized within the app. One of them kept the shutter on/off constantly when powered on. As frustrating as these are, I can see them making sense for the budget you may have.
