Paying for arlo subscription for it to work

Furst problem is, you have to download a updated app. for the camera to work. Will not work on the old app. if you have arlo pro 2 cameras and Essential camera 1st gen. they will work. So that being said, the new app. is no good. All the other cameras work and record but app works well the the 2nd gen. arlo essential. The last thing is(this is why 3 stars) after 30 days of free subscription. You have to pay for arlo subscription in order for the camera to work. The original arlo pro 2 you did not have to pay for and you got free 7 day recording.

Great backyard camera with a solar power supply

This one is a big help keeping track of what animals are damaging my garden and with making decisions on how to protect it.

Good but not perfect

Only issue is that screw in mounting arm is not long enough and not stable when screwing into camera. More difficult to mount than doorbell.

Was so simple to install, that I had it up and running within minutes. So please with it, I am now planning on replacing all my older cameras with this great camera.

Easy to install

But you have to charge the battery like every week. Each charging last a week for me and my camera is always busy. Good so far
