This camera has good picture quality and even has a privacy shade in case you dont want a camera constantly rolling in your home. The only thing that some may not like about this is that the camera needs to be near an outlet as it does not have an internal battery. Arlo security is one of the few services that do not require a subscription for use, instead the subscription adds features and its your option whether or not you want them.

This camera has great video quality and the privacy shield is a great addition when you are recording inside of your house. However, the privacy shield will never close if you pay for CVR even if you disarm the camera. This is not problematic as long as your camera is in the main areas of your home.

Other than some hiccups setting it up and needing to reboot a couple times, working great! We just added 5 Arlo cameras to our house. Their app is great and easy to use and the set-up process is easily to follow. Good video quality and control of settings.

We activate the Arlo Essential Indoor camera on vacations. The clarity, noise levels, and range allow us to monitor our interior. It provides us with a great sense of relief knowing we can watch our own property. Worth the small investment!

The perfect security camera for home or business use. Very easy to setup and to use. They hooked up to my home internet without any problems and they have great picture quality. I purchased 4 of these, so I could place them strategically around my home.

Easy to set up and connect. I have two of these cameras, two Arlo doorbells and one outdoor security camera. While they are sometimes slow to connect, they always work.

Bought one of these for the kids playroom and it provides great picture and sound quality. Easy to set up through our wifi. We have several other Arlos as well and have been very satisfied with their performance. Highly recommended!

We use them for indoor use on our jobsites and they provide what we need. The ability to see activity within the building. With 180 degree switch of the video for CEO g mounts provides flexibility.

These little Arlo cameras are great They respond to every movement. Easy to mount. Simple to set up. Wasn’t as pricey as the other ones. I like the arlo over the other brands.

Good wired camera at a low cost. Wide field of view and good night vision. Easy to hook up and operate using the mobile app.

Great Camera for Arlo security systems. What I did not know was that it requires the newer Arlo Smart Hub to be able to use this camera. I have an original 5 yr old system that works just fine so could not warrant the additional expense to add the audio camera functionality. Good Value Excellent Quality Seems like minimal ease of operation with the upgraded base

I use this indoor facing outdoor (from the window). The cam is good- no issues during daytime. But couldn’t get clear videos at night time (it reflects from the window). No issues regarding alerts (motion, sounds etc). I have been an Arlo user for years now and I can say it’s worth it.

The real frustration is the nightly "firmware update in process" that knocks the camera offline and never completes, requiring you to start over and re-install the camera from scratch. Also, motion detection has never worked from Day 1... not sure why. I've tried every bit of advice I can find online for this, but I'm close to throwing in the towel and returning it. On the plus side, when I can get it to work and stay connected, the picture quality is great and the night vision is pretty clear, so if you can actually get it to stay connected then it might be a good choice.

Kept disconnecting from the internet. Kept having to sync it every day in order to view it. Maybe something on my end but none of my other devices don’t have that issue Image quality was very good though.

Best camera love mine and if i miss something i can go back and watch again per app

Quality is good, VIDEO IS GREAT. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the software is not as intuitive as it could be and some features are difficult to adjust because the software does not make finding some features easy to find.
