    I have been using Arlo cameras for about 5 years but needed an upgrade. I really enjoy the spotlight feature at our front door not just for security reasons but to see my keys while unlocking the door.

    Love it, the wide angle is great, and the clarity is exceptional. I have 3 different models of Arlo camera and appreciate the price on the solar panel. I would suggest getting the solar panels.

    Cameras are on a delay, but not bad. When I purchased this camera, I was told a monthly subscription was not required. As it turns out, to keep the system working as advertised, a subscription IS required. That was disappointing.

    Great product! I already had the arlo cameras but this one is upgraded from my others. The range is better and overall its worth it! Easy set up to the base station.

    The only camera that can support and connect with my 5G the price was also right so I purchased two. Battery life before you have to recharge is at least 2 weeks looking to purchase another 2 for my daughter

    great camera option for outside cameras, they also sell solar panels for these which make it so you never need to charge them the cameras have a nice wide lenses to cover a large area

    Does not connect to all Wi-Fi networks. Poor documentation, very poor customer service. The worst product I have ever purchased from Best Buy.

    Beware Monthly “Premium” fees

    Be prepared to pay monthly fees ($10 +tax) for 3 cameras to view anything other than live video. After initial trial description period, you lose all the Features other than live streaming and notifications. You lose animal detection, custom zone, and all other features other than live streaming which if you don’t look at your phone when something happens, no chance at recording anything. By then too late. This becomes a basic “let’s watch the squirrels play on our expensive 3 camera system. Other criticisms are that 2 different people cannot look at camera at same time. I tried hooking up to Arlo Smarthub for local recording and that does not work either. Review on Arlo Smarthub will be posted separately. Too late to return, so will be trying to sell at garage sale! It says it can connect to Apple HomeKit via Smarthub but that does not work either. It is not worth the headaches in my opinion. If you are willing to pay $10+ per month, then might as well go with a better system that is either able to record locally or connect with other online storage.

    Would be nice to have a user manual and a longer charging cord…. Not sure how im supposed to keep the camera mounted and charge it at the same time… May return to bestbuy.

    Make sure your internet is reliable

    I am sure they work well with the right internet service. However, in the mountains, relying on Hughes Net, I could not get it to directly connect to the router. Exchanged with Arlo Pro 2 and no issues what so ever.

    Unimpressed with the newer versions of Arlo, battery dies very quickly (overnight immediately after a charge). Also, have to pay for storage unlike the Arlo Pro 2s.

    The worst camera i ever had. Mind you i use these in a office setting wifi going 24 hours and the cameras goes offline and takes a while to come back online contact Arlo was told they’re going to replace and still have not yet gotten my replacement or packing for return. The service is terrible wish i never bought these. I would’ve been better off going wired instead of wireless. The batteries does NOT last 6 months I’m charging these cameras at least 2-3 times a week.

    These cameras require a monthly plan to store any recordings. Video quality and sensitivity are good. However, the requirement to have Arlo secure to store your recordings is a deal-breaker.
