Easy to install,great visuals and right price. The size is also small enough to be discreet and I was able to use inside and outdoors.

My old Arlo cameras had iCloud videos saved for 7 days for free access. This new Arlo Essential Spotlight camera does not give any amount of time free; it requires monthly payments to view videos. You'd think they would give last 24 hours free! Other than no free access to videos once the trial access is over, the camera itself had clear picture and worked fine.

The video quality is its only good feature. The record zone is only 10 feet away from the camera. Also, the app is absolutely horrible. When the camera connects, the person or object is already gone. When its quick, it takes 10 to 15 seconds go go live from the app. Then it locks up and I have to reset it. I bought it for peace of mind and all its creating is a headache. I had much less anxiety before I installed the camera because all I see is it not working. Also, it has a 3 month promo period and you have to put your credit card info in it and it charged me for the first month immediately. For the price plus monthly fee, the camera should work better than it does. I am giving it 1 more day and then I'm returning it. Bad buy from best buy. Also, its hell to set up.

Arlo cameras are too notch. This is my second set of this product. My only issue is the range. Two of my outside cameras are unable to get a fairly strong signal. However this is more so a internet issue as opposed to a camera issue.

I love this brand. This is an ad on camera to my original system. The video quality and sound quality are unmatched.

Do not recommend. Batteries do not last as long as advertised. If you leave them on all of the time, batteries will run down in a matter of days.

Finally, a battery that last what you need to. Quality could improve a bit, only inconvenience it's the 3 second recording delay, if needed it would not record instant sometimes important situations.

Works well overall, however it's hard to program. Even a windy day gets nonstop notices whenever a branch moves. However, the installers did a great job and were very helpful.

Like my Arlo cameras only downside is I didn't know that the Essential had a subscription required or your video doesn't save.

Good value for the money. I especially like the camera's ability to differentiate between animals and humans.

There ok cameras, but they send notifications late and you need a subscription for the recordings to work properly

It doesn’t always pick up and if it doesn’t pick up then you don’t get a recording. Also you have to be super close in order for it to pick up. If you want to go in and get a live feed you have to constantly click live and wait for it to go live which by the time it does you’ve missed out. Again I can’t access any videos unless it decides to record. Don’t like it at all.

We upgraded the Arlo solar cameras to the newer version. Have always been happy with them. So happy to protect our home.
