purchased the arlo essential wi-fi smart video doorbell, installation and set up were easy, video was great and it worked fine until the battery needed charging. when I put the charged battery back in only the doorbell alert on my phone worked, no video of anyone coming to the door or walking by the house. I did the factory reset and it would not pair with my phone. Best Buy was very good with replacing the unit which worked well for one day and then stopped working and would not pair with my phone again. going to try to return for a refund.

excellent doorbell camera, allowing me to see the packages delivered and help me feel safe when opening the front door. The drawback is that you need a subscription to keep the videos for more than 30 days

Works great. Easy to take the battery out. You don’t need the subscription to keep it working. Last for a while and there’s different settings in the app you can mess around with if you get their other products

Installed the wire free doorbell a few days ago. So far I am very happy with the video quality for daytime and night time. Easy to set up. Battery is great. My only complaint would be upon set up. It took a long time for the device to find my wifi. Network was on 2.4G, no mistakes on my end. Overall product is working very well. Happy with my purchase.

Very easy to install and set up. Easy to connect with Arlo app. Best For with standing the heat I live in the Western standing the heat I live in a desert it does well.

Very easy to create account and install. Battery lasts for weeks without needing a charge. Motion detection isn't the best and doesn't span very far. Live feed works well.

The camera is really good but the reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the time it take for the live feed for the camera to load and the delay in the live speech from the app to the actual device itself.

The app has some difficulty loading in a timely manner despite proximity to router. Camera and voice quality are good. Cost is reasonable, but you do need a subscription to use.

Although I have not had it long, I’m learning more about my new doorbell and liking it quite well! The conversation is clear and the picture comes across nicely on my phone. I recommend the Arlo Wi-Fi doorbell!

I rated with 4 starts because I have the essential wire-free doorbell only for a week. It’s not enough time to review a product but yes, so far works great

Reliable, easy installation, and the test trial is for a good amount of time. There is a video doorbell call feature when the center button is pushed. If you are looking for a doorcam that will text you like a bad first date then look no further. My gf and I feel safer with it. 10/10
