Great cameras …. They do the job well…. Only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5, is because I wish they were compatible with Apples homekit app when using the Arlo bridge. Hopefully Arlo has a software update coming soon to fix this. If so I would change to 5 stars.

The cameras are far from great. They have plenty of glitches. They claim to have "activity zones" to detect motion and that function rarely works as claimed. The most irritating thing happened recently and is going to make me abandon them and seek something different. They provided a free trial offer (which you couldn't opt out of) of their subscription based features. Once the free trial ended, I can no longer access features that were previously available before the free trial. The item I speaking specifically about is being able to view records in the "feed" of the app. I now have to dig further down into the app to view a recording. I tried to contact support to understand how this functionality could be removed and because my camera's are out of warranty, I couldn't even chat with a support person. Good bye ARLO! I don't like the way to eliminate features once your cameras are beyond warranty and try to force you to join a subscription based plan.

Great product, excellent price and easy-to-use. Installation works as it is supposed to, while setup isn't difficult.

Excellent camera, good quality picture/video, very pleased to use this as an upgrade to my existing Arlo system.

Video quality is great but somehow didn't pick up a black bear that was in my driveway. Also, very finicky wifi. My Google Nests have a range of over 50 feet into the yard but cameras had trouble picking up signal from 10 feet away.

Best only issues subscription if needed for video camera recording store data on theirs system have to pay. Its should be able to record on pur cloud etc

Easy setup with stable connectivity and reliable app. Just have to know the limitations on a fully-wireless system, and with any the potential network security concerns/bandwidth and # of connections overload. No bad experiences after a year+ of use. Switching from a major security company to Arlo and so far better products at much cheaper cost. Great features for the price point and regularly on sale.

I wanted to upgrade my original Arlo cameras and I am so happy I did. First of all, the response time is so much faster. Second, the video is so much clearer. Third, I eliminated the "hub" and everything is directly connected to my wifi.

Relatively inexpensive. Battery life seems okay so far. Camera sure misses a lot though and the short clips ( while action is taking place) are very annoying. Sometimes won't record vehicle or person at edge of my driveway but will record traffic on street an extra 100-200 yards away !? The "zones" are pretty much useless. It somewhat filled a temporary need but thats about it.
