Great wide-angle videos. You can see a lot with these cameras.

The previous version of the Essential was the best at 1089p and a battery that would EASILY last over a year. This version is way better at 2K and a battery life that’s reportedly well over a year. Makes remote positioning outside through the long northern Michigan winters a breeze!

Relatively inexpensive. Battery life seems okay so far. Camera sure misses a lot though and the short clips ( while action is taking place) are very annoying. Sometimes won't record vehicle or person at edge of my driveway but will record traffic on street an extra 100-200 yards away !? The "zones" are pretty much useless. It somewhat filled a temporary need but thats about it.

Thought I would like these but couldn't get them to work and then found out I would have to buy a bridge to get them to work. Returned the 3 cameras and told the lady I can't believe The Camera company doesn't put that with the camera's

Great cameras ! Very clear video with a motion sensor light for night time so the videos are in color . I replaced these with the arlos I've had for 6 years since the battery's where old . Dashboard for these are much easier to use than the old ones .Very happy with them .

Arlo works great outside in all types of weather. Spotlights are great. Picks up tiniest movements

Picture on phone was clear, good nighttime views, small enough so it’s not easily noticed. Giving a 3 because it’s needs to be charged with a USB, which is not easy to do with an outside camera

Husband loves this camera ! Just after installing it we went away for the week and an assessor showed up to our property . He was able to have a full conversation with him about the assessors needs . He was very impressed with the clarity .

after every upgrade arlo cams are getting worse - first gen cams from 2018 are still working like a champ and my favs -- but some new gen cams are not working out of the box - it is hit or miss - why built in batteries??? cause you want us every time take the cam inside and charge it all day and place it back to where it was installed ? instead with having extra batteries we could easily replace the batteries outside where the cams are - and no need to bring them back inside to charge -- not smart arlo you grow cause you dont have competitor !! not because you are good
