It took two sessions on the phone with customer support and a few hours of researching other user solutions. The later finally worked for me. I recommend you only purchase this product if you are going to have the ability to immediately try and install it. That way you have both the BestBuy return window and Arlo Support. Regarding the device itself, it does not do much. The motion sensor does not work very well, and who really needs a box to change your security settings? You only need this to have the sensors. There probably is a better way. I regret my purchase.

It's just was installed a week ago. Shout-out goes to the Geek Squad guys who did the install. Very pleased with their work.

But I'm getting there. Best Buy did an amazing job in installing the system and tutoring me.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a good product but I'm knocking a star off because when I added this to my Arlo system it started sending out alerts whenever the mode changes which I have the system do several times a day and there is no way to disable this. So my phone alerts me to an 'intuder' whenever the mode changes which is exceedingly annoying. Arlo acknowledged this customer annoyance 6 months ago and they still haven't fixed the issue. There are many good competitors in this space so Arlo needs to get on the ball.

May work for others, but I tried 3 different routers and 2 different phones and it would still not get installed. A dedicated hub would be best to ensure an easy install. Hopefully improved models in the future.
