I purchased this outdoor mount so I could use it to install my arlo cameras on the outside of my house as it would be a good way to install the cameras outside. However after purchasing it I decided to just use the cameras inside, facing towards my windows, and in doing so I was able to plug the cameras into electrical outlets and thus eliminated the need to keep recharging the cameras' batteries. I ended up never using this mount.

I used this to mount my camera outside. The magnet that came with it is powerful, but it has only 1 screw with it so it moves. I set up the mount and adjusted the camera on it. It works great, it has held steady in driving rain and high winds. We have had very little winter weather but Inam not worried.

Brackets fit the camera perfectly, installing was very easy.

We originally purchased some cheaper mounts off the internet although much cheaper than the Arlo mounts but very flimsy/ cheap feeling. Decided to give 1 of the more expensive Arlo mounts a try, wow what a difference. Now all 8 of our cameras are on Arlo mounts! Save time, money & frustration, buy the Arlo mounts.

Bought this to mount my Arlo camera outside. Wasn’t comfortable with the magnet mount that came with the camera (theft/mounting stability concerns ). Felt the $17 price was a little high for what you get, but it was easy to mount and the adjustment allows for various positioning. Feel Arlo should include this mount with their camera rather than, or in addition to, the magnetic one.
