    I needed a way to mount my Arlo by my front door securely. I didn’t want to see a video of some walking away with my camera. This mount is made of metal, before I purchased, I thought it was plastic. Although someone can still unscrew the camera and walk away with it if they really wanted to. There are many different mounts available on a popular website, but I decided to go with the OEM mount and am happy with it.

    This mount is my personal favorite choice over the magnetic ones. You screw the Arlo camera into the mount stand where as the magnetic ones you just set on top of them. I feel safer having my cameras securely fastened to a stand instead of someone having the option to easily coming and detach the camera from the magnetized setup! Takes a little more time to setup, but definitely worth the extra few minutes.
