Built sturdy, does not secure the camera

The thumb screw on the base isn't functional in locking down the camera and is made of plastic. I would have liked the mount to keep the camera secure as it would be easy for someone to unscrew the camera and walk away with it. Since it does not secure the camera it will need to be installed out of hands reach. This reduces the clarity of the image because it is too far away from the subject.

Definitely recommend.

I take away 2 stars because to change the batteries on the Arlo, you have to remove it from the mount and change the batteries and then reinstall it to the mount. Too bad they didn't make it so it didn't block the battery access.
