    I'm using this mount outside above my front door and wanted something to provide some extra clearance in back to run a charging cable into the cam. This is a sturdy mount and provides the clearance necessary for the charging cable. Just withstood 40+ MPG wind gusts and didn't flinch. Installed in about 5 minutes.
