I was very hesitant to purchase solar panels. I just had my doubts that they would work. After deciding that I did not want to climb on ladders to switch out batteries I decided to try them. What a great decision. I have a 3 camera ultra system plus a floodlight for the driveway. I only bought 3 solar panels even though I had four cameras total. After almost three weeks of use all three cameras with a solar panel are 100% charged. The lone camera that does not have a solar panel was around 79%. I have since been back to the store and purchased a fourth panel for my last camera. I highly recommend trying them.

Full disclosure: I live in a fairly wooded lot without a ton of direct sunlight. These works surprisingly well.
I installed 2 of these on my cameras. The first was installed with a fully charge battery and the other way installed on a camera with a battery with 15% left. The fully charged battery is staying at 100% even with activity. The other camera stays pretty much around the 15% mark.
That is my experience with these. Use them to maintain the charge, not to actually charge a battery. Unless you are going on vacation for a week these will never charge a dead battery.

This is great with the Arlo camera! There are other reviews that say it doesn't charge the camera and only maintains the battery life, so I wasn't expecting a lot from them. I had two solar panels installed with the cameras a few days ago. At the time one of my cameras was at 50% battery. The other was already at 100%. Now they are both at 100%. It did take a few days to get the one to 100%, but it eventually did. The solar panel is on a very sunny side of my house and there isn't a lot of activity there, so the camera doesn't use a lot of battery. But it's nice to know that the battery will get charged by the solar panel.

Very easy to install and works great. Ensure you have it in direct sunlight and your cameras will always stay charged. Solar panels are the way to go. Highly recommended!!!

This has been an awesome purchase!! No more going up-and-down on the ladder. I can run these cameras like I want to and not just optimized because the camera now senses when the battery is low and charges. Its great having more freedom to actually leverage all of the features of these cameras.

Now I don't have to worry about climbing ladder to charge batteries!! Work great. They were professionally installed to get the most available year round sun.

This solar panel charger does exactly what you would expect, it keeps your Arlo camera charged. It doesn’t look bad either. I was a little concerned it would stand out and be an eye sore but it isn’t.
The one piece of advice I would add prior to mounting is to watch the area you are thinking throughout the day and ensure it will get some pretty direct sun at least a few hours a day. Also remember the sun and shade changes through the seasons. I had to move mine about 6 inches from its original location because in the winter the panel didn’t get your direct sun.

Amazing simple and efficient way to keep my Arlo Ultra cameras up and running. Keeps battery all the time full and with the magnet interface easy to install.

Works well with our Arlo cameras. You just have to make sure it is positioned to get the sunlight. I've only had a few cases where we've had to replace the battery versus the solar panel charging it - and that's when we've had a long stretch of cloudy days during the winter when days are shorter.
