I have a camera on the N side of my home that makes it a bit less effective in late Fall-Spring, but it works well in the summer months. Saves me a lot of ladder climbing to charge!

No more climbing up there to replace the battery! (Make sure to research what direction works best to face this panel in your location!)

The downfall is having to charge batteries at least once a month. We recently purchased the solar charger to each camera and we can’t complain.

Because they are completely wireless, when you put them in a hard to get to place, it can be tough to charge them. This solves that problem. No issues at all. Works flawless!

Choose a location for your solar panel that gets plenty of sunlight; try to avoid spots that are in the shade for a significant portion of the day.
Mount your solar panel facing true south (in the northern hemisphere) or true north (in the southern hemisphere) and tilt it to the appropriate angle for your latitude.
Wipe the panel every few months to remove dust or debris that might affect the solar energy-harvesting efficiency of the panel.
