The cable is long enough so you should be able to place this within a well-lit UV area for maximum efficiency.

Don’t know if the magnetic lead to the camera is making good contact all the time. Had better luck with the older system. I find I have to keep an eye on the battery status daily.

However, due to me having a large dog in the back yard the solar panel cannot keep the camera charged enough to stay on all day. He keeps the camera busy??? The purchase through Best Buy was easily handled.
