Sometimes listed as Essential or Pro bersion and sometimes with the VMC number. Would have been better for customers to standardize the connectors.

Fake charges then drains battery overnight.

Over night the battery will drain to 0%. Arlo support wants me to pay shipping to RMA 3 week old solar panels that don’t work out of the box and Bestbuys return policy is one of the worst anywhere. I’ve moved away from shopping at Bestbuy. Not worth the trouble.

I have spent a total of $300 between the camera, the solar panel, and a replacement camera. The camera will show that it’s at a 100% then after like 3/4 days it will show that it’s 42%, then it will die a few days later. I have to still charge the camera every week even with it being connected to a solar panel. I just want to throw it all away. Wasted my money

Arlo 4 pro and solar panels

The camera connected to this keeps disconnecting from our network. The only way I've been able to stay connected is to run off of battery, and let the solar panel be wasted.

Solar panels that don't work

They showed as if they were charging my Arlo pro 4 cameras but as days went on the battery life just dropped to nothing. So I still have to bring out the latter to change the batteries.

The sales associate did not know what she was doing and sold me solar chargers that did not work with the cameras. I had to return the chargers for different ones and they don't work either. I called and the rep said the chargers are not designed to keep the cameras fully charged. The cameras are mounted up high and are a pain to take down and charge.

The 2-watt Arlo Solar Panel is designed to provide year-round trickle charging to keep your Arlo camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full.

The main problem is that this company has no telephone support, everything from tech support to warranty service has to be done online and they wait a long time to respond. The back-and forth has taken days, and still no resolution. Don't buy anything from them.

Stay away from this solar panel!

This panel kills the battery very quickly! I am not sure if this will get better with warmer weather because we had a warmer than usual December.
