I went from potato to super spud! The audio options, rechargeable batteries and the spotlight are my favorite options. The motion sensitivity is was better as well. I never knew there were so many cats in my neighborhood. it even catches my neighbor every morning getting into his car. These cameras are great.

I subscribe to the optional smart notifications and I enjoy minimal notifications for things I’m not interested in. I think the battery life is excellent considering how often I use the system. Charging is a snap! I also enjoy the option to record locally in case of an internet outage! Well done Arlo!

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an Arlo customer for 4 years, and when I bought this camera I thought I was just buying an upgrade to the cameras I have. Those came with a 7 day cloud storage that would allow me to review videos recorded on my mobile phone. However it's not the case with this camera and Arlo doesn't make it clear that you basically won't be able to do anything with it unless you buy the subscription, if you do, in 3 years time you will pay double the value of this camera. They claim you will be able to use certain features which don't work most of the time at least not with their 3 month "free subscription" plan. So unless you want to pay $40 a year to have the ability to review your videos on your mobile phone, don't bother buying this camera and look for better options.

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase this Arlo new camera 4 months ago and now my battery it's not longer working, I have the old model Arlo camera's and they working super fine, also with this new arlo camera you need to purchase a plan if you want to keep recording, not sure why since with my old Arlo's I don't need any type of plan.
