If i could give it zero stars that wuld still be too many. Dont waste your time. Couldnt even get it to connect to see if it even worked. Their tech support is a joke. This system is not easy to set uo as advertised. If it dosent connect the first time retun it. Should not take houra amd hours of the same thing over and over to get nowhere.

You have to have a subscription for these to be useful. No wonder they offer a temporary free subscription, so that by the time it expires and you find out, it'll be too late to return.

I purchased this device and requested Geek Squad I stall. It was pushed back due to the weather twice. Once it was installed the camera died less that 24hrs later. I would not recommend this camera only because of the battery. It’s trash and the suggested battery reading Arlo provides doesn’t solve the issue of the battery being trash.

When you need to scan QR code, you need to turn the camera around so that the front side is facing the camera. Had good quality but was a little slow on notifications. I also purchased a competitor's camera that was very easy to install, included a home base, and does not charge any monthly fees. No need to purchase the home base separately to achieve this function.

The return time has passed I would definitely return it. They have a delay in recording, if you don't look when you go in to watch live you will miss the action. There is no way to record without subscription, you can buy smarthub or base station you will still have to pay to record externally. The battery only lasts a "week" unless the area is very busy it will only last 3 days. It's a pain in the butt to take the stairs and change every 3 days. It has a free month of subscription but once you finish many functions of the camera, if you do not contract the most expensive plan, you lose them. It only sends alerts, it doesn't record, it turns on the light and you can talk, that's all. a $30 dollar camera would definitely do better.
