    Arlo Pro 4 cameras

    This was really a good deal, $250 for three cameras with an extra battery. I replaced three of the initial pro cameras that I bought years ago. Now I have color video at night with higher resolution. It was nice to get mounts with the cameras, however, the mounts weren’t as good as the ones that I bought with my original cameras and I can’t use the original mounts without buying a new housing for each camera.

    Arlo has both pros and cons. The detection is not the best. It catches movement a decent amount however these cameras failed to capture the one and only time my car got broken into and it happened directly in front of the camera view…. I would invest in a constant recording system if you are able to. The batteries die relatively quickly so I had to buy solar powered panels to hold charge

    Great price for a great product. The price of the combo was less expensive than purchasing just one camera by itself. Have been using Arlo for years and found that the Arlo Pro 4 is a great replacement for the Arlo Pro as it allows individual camera control where the Pro requires a base station to control it.

    They work great. No base station required this is a big plus. My old Arlo system required a base station. This system is much faster to transmit to my device than the old one hardly any delay. The night vision was better in my old one however. You have to turn on the spot light to get a good view in the dark.

    I like the picture of this camaras, but one of my camaras is draining the battery in less then 24 hours

    Overall I am very happy with the cameras and have recently purchased 3 more. Animal/Person identification for motion alerts has been very good and a feature I really like. (waiting to see what BigFoot will register as!) WiFi range is good and battery life has been excellent. My only complaint is setup does not seem to be as smooth as it could be. I get connected via phone and it finds an update, then it stops working and I have to remove battery and start again. Other issue, like most all other wifi IoT devices they won't work with wifi 5. More of a hassle than a show stopper, but wifi 6 is out now, so start putting the newer wifi chips in.

    These Arlo cameras work good, they work good in any whether conditions HD and they work through Internet so that you can connect it to your phone.

    I love my Arlo! Yes, it does take awhile to load a Live view and/or to get incoming notification. This is a given especially if you know the speed or WiFi connectivity you'll get. I have had NO issues so far and this is my 2nd Arlo device. The first device I purchased was old so it was time for a upgrade. Only downfall is paying for the monthly service in order to playback some of the recordings ($10/month unlimited devices).

    Okay... but returning and moving to ultra 2

    I'm iffy on this camera. I wasn't satisfied with the resolution and thus I am returning this setup and bumping up to the ultra 2's 4K setup. Now to be fair, I think the pro 4 did a good job with alerts and the image quality is fair and probably would have been better if my wifi signal was stronger and faster. With the ultras, I'm going to bump the wifi as well. Again.. for the budget minded, this camera will work fine. But in this day and age.. I'm spending extra money because so many feel that "WE" owe them something... they will receive a ticket directly to JAIL on me and my cameras.

    I like how i can view the images live all in one page in my app. I like the range of capture. I dislike how often im having to change the batteries. Im changing them at least once a week and it gets frustrating

    well hubs spent lots of time researching systems before we made our choice. So we waited for a great sale (it is a super system at full price...lol) Had the Geek Squad install it as we have Total tech....it is awesome.... I will tell you I have an active back yard when we are home (I work from home and have 2 BIG fur kids ) so I found out quickly how fast the batteries can burn down..truthfully the deck yard camera lasted 2 weeks....so I found out that turning off my notifications during those times has helped...operation is somewhat a trial & error process (for me at least) and I have not checked yet as to what the recording will cost yet as you get a 3-4 month "trial" so far we LOVE THIS so much we had a second system installed at a 2nd home...GO ARLO......

    I love my cameras even though the settings are not accurate. I set my backyard camera to people only and it still pick up motion and animals. The doorbell alert me after the fact. Overall the view is very clear and alarm is good.

    This was purchased to upgrade from the Arlo essential camera series I have owned for about 3 years now. The difference in image quality from 1080p to 1440p is well worth it as well as the built in spotlight and wider field of view. The battery life is significantly better compared to the essential line.

    This is an awesome deal. I currently have a bunch of Arlo cameras, but wanted to upgrade to the new model here all the accessories that came in the kit really added to the deal very pleased with my purchase and the price.

    We like the cameras with one exception. They don't always trip if something is coming straight at it. They work great if you can angle them for objects to cross their path. The batteries do not last last long in the heat.

    The cameras have a clear picture. They are easy to use. The cameras go offline about once a week. I have 3 and they go offline at different times, it's not all 3 at once. The camera goes back online after pulling the battery out and putting it back in. I can hear noises outside really well. For someone to hear me they have to be within a couple feet of the camera and I have to speak loudly and they still have a hard time hearing me.
