So far so good - batteries last unless you have a unit that see a lot of traffic or gets nuisance signals (like from a flag hung next to it). Video is good and recording to Hub and Flash Drive.

I've had these cameras for about a month and a half and have needed to charge them what feels like 100+ times. The quality is good, but the battery life is no where near what the box says. I have changed settings, turned off the spot light. Needless to say I will have to invest in their solar panels.

I do like these cameras. Great view once you get them adjusted to the correct angle. The only complaint I would make is with the new version Pro 4 you have to buy the cloud service in order to keep your video's, which is unfair, but no choice.

Great cameras and capabilities, features, Only downside was the monthly cost was a bit higher than others, but it ran through batteries like a kid eating candy. If they were hard wired they would have been my top choice.

Nice bundle, should come with 2 extra batteries, but it only comes with 1. Battery life depletes quickly in heavy traffic areas.

Great cameras. Amazing video/sound quality. Very poor battery life, I mean real poor. 6 months my hairy white butt, even in the lowest settings best I’ve gotten is 4 weeks. Have to have a subscription service so that sucks. Super expensive. Everything for it is super expensive. Overall, a great camera with horrible battery life and it’s super expensive. Well worth it.

B U Y E R B E W A R E ! ! ! ! Without the subscription, you basically have a DUMB wireless camera. I understand that the subscription provides value add enhancements such as, smart object detection (vehicle, person, package) and cloud based storage, however you need to also have a subscription to tailor your activity zone. In my instance, I have a camera pointed at my drive way, and without the subscription, I get a notice EVERYTIME a vehicle drives by (I live on a rather busy street). I called tech support, and there is no way to “crop” the camera so that I will only receive notification as to when there is activity in my driveway. Now my battery is being rapidly depleted. Sad! Additionally, ARLO does NOT play nicely with Apple HomeKit, so you can’t use the Apple Secure Video feature set…. Look elsewhere unless you are buying know that you are going to subscribe to their service.

Cameras are easy to mount and set up with the Arlo app. Only issues so far seen to be with the batteries. For some reason, the battery charge does not last very long...less than a week. I have 4 Arlo Ultra cameras at another property and they last about 6 weeks between charges. This group of cameras has not exhibited that type of longevity. Also, the field of view of these cameras is much narrower than the Ultra

Hi Kaslas, Thank you for this feedback. It sounds like your cameras are a bit too far from your base station pro router. You might also have some wireless frequency issue occurring. If you bring one of the cameras experiencing the issue closer to the base/router to test for a potential range/interference issue, this will help trouble shoot the direct cause. Ive used Arlo for ahwile and this was an added camera to my home system. The camera works well when it works. However the app will frequently take a long time to load the live feed. The app also signs you out a lot which slows the orocess of quickly seeing whats going on. The arlo system did help me catch a porch theif, but im not sure id buy it again

Camera system started out by making a positive impression on me now it's soon to be replaced after only 1 year. I mounted the cameras at various locations throughout my yard and linked them to my router. Battery life on 2 of the cameras were not great so I added solar panels to 2 of the cameras. Well I'm currently over the 1 year warranty on the cameras and 1 of them has died. Have to relink it to see it completely drain the power in under 1 day. I also have issues with the solar panels staying connected without corrosion forming in the connection so they won't charge. This much money for only 1 good year of use is not any better than a monthly system in my opinion. I will soon be replacing all the cameras and will unsubscribe from the Arlo online storage.

The picture quality is one of the best I’ve seen. The zoom function is very good. I gave it a 4 star because of the few seconds delay.

Image from Daylight to Twilight is remarkably good. Color night video can be helped with LED spotlight, or go with its high quality IR sensor. Very easy installation. LED spotlight (switchable and dimmable) works well and is essential for areas with no overnight lighting. Plug and play with built in presets, or tune it up with lots of user options for time, image, area covered, even distinguishing between cars and people. Built in battery lasts 2-3 weeks between charges on a busy area. Recharging is easy with included snap-on USB cable.
