    Wish I would have read the reviews first. Let me say I've had 5 Gen 1 Arlo cameras running for 10 years with overall generally good performance. These Arlo Pro4s are apparently a package specific to Best Buy and have been very buggy to say the least. The most important feature of Arlo is Animated Preview -- this is where a snapshot of the recording is taken and sent via a Push notification, email and appears on the Device list of the Arlo app. I rely on these as they will almost always give you an image for example of your Amazon package being delivered. Unfortunately it only works when it wants to - and usually not at all - which defeats the purpose of a security camera. I am getting notifications of recording however I can't go back and see the activity as I used to with my 10 year old Arlos. I didn't realize the return window expired already so now I'm stuck with garbage. Most likely will re-install my older cameras and use these only for live viewing spots. Ughhh. Avoid at all costs - no wonder they are over 50% markdown.

    I wish I could return it. I purchased this device and requested Geek Squad I stall. It was pushed back due to the weather twice. Once it was installed the camera died less that 24hrs later. I would not recommend this camera only because of the battery. It’s trash and the suggested battery reading Arlo provides doesn’t solve the issue of the battery being trash.

    Does NOT work with the base of other arlo models like they claim. You have to have a subscription for these to be useful. No wonder they offer a temporary free subscription, so that by the time it expires and you find out, it'll be too late to return.

    Worked fine at first. Used only one of the cameras and only opened a battery pack out of the bag to charge as the current one got low. One cycle through all the batteries and they all won't hold a charge for more than a day. Bought a second set of batteries and they had the same issue so I think it's the cameras. Don't recommend.

    The spotlight does not put off enough light to see good at night, daytime the pic is great.

    Purchased the Arlo camera and had a hard time installing because instructions were not transparent. When you need to scan QR code, you need to turn the camera around so that the front side is facing the camera. Had good quality but was a little slow on notifications. I also purchased a competitor's camera that was very easy to install, included a home base, and does not charge any monthly fees. No need to purchase the home base separately to achieve this function.

    Battery runs out very fast and I haven't really figured out how to use it the right way. Maybe my street is too busy and I pick up too many people.

    THE PRODUCT MAY BE GOOD . BUT CAN'T SAY THAT THE ARLO CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. JUST SAYING THE TRUTH BEST BUY I HAVE NOT PROBLEMS WITH THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEM THERE FOR ME

    I had older version and I loved these new ones and specifically in color black there not visible color blend with my wall

    I purchased this camera because it was wireless and easy to install. I was not worried about having to recharge a wireless camera because the product claims it lasts 6 months between charges. It was very easy to install and set up, however, a fully charged battery lasts less than 4 days. I have tried many times to recharge the battery, adjust the settings to improve battery life and every time it lasts barely 3 days. I can not recommend a product that requires over one day to recharge and lasts less than four. When I alerted Arlo customer support to my issue, it was clear the company has had no interest in trying to help identify or resolve the product issues. Phone support has never picked up after hours on hold. The call back option does not work. And, I have spent hours chatting with at least 10 different support agents asking me to complete the same troubleshooting steps that always result in the same outcomes and then to wait for it to get better. After months of effort finally Arlo is willing to send a new camera, but only if I pay to send them their defective product back to them. Buy this product only if you want to spend more money and time dealing with Arlo customer support.

    Camera works well but battery life is much less than stated and sometimes the motion sensor doesn’t track people/objects early enough or long enough.

    One of the camera just completely stopped working after 1 year. And battery life is only a week not 6 monthes like advertised
