If something is moving it will turn on but miss its target. For just viewing the camera there great but for home security try something else before wasting your money.

I was so confident in this product until I got home and tried to connect it to my internet 2.4 GHz band. It wouldn't connect at all. I thought one was messed up, nope, none of them worked. I ended up exchanging this product for 2 Ring Spotlight cam, 1 stick up cam, and 2 Ring batteries. I was praying to the security cam Gods that the ring product would work and Lord... They connected in seconds. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RING.
