We constantly have to swap batteries because the one outside keeps dying.

Awesome not needing a base station to hook up to. The one downside is the magnetic mount is less than perfect to install.

Short battery life, expect to replace often.

However, one of them drains the battery very fast. Did everything I could to minimize the use of the battery but still had to switch the battery 3 times while the other two cameras are still in the same battery. Not sure if it’s a defect.

Nevertheless they do the job and have tons of features. They are easy to install and easier to use

Super easy to install, easy to adjust field of view with complete wireless magnetic base, and the phone app is very user friendly. But the zoom on it is misleading. I had the impression that it would detect something in the distance and zoom in on it. It doesn't. If it detects something in the distance you have to pull up the recorded video and manually zoom in on your phone app or computer to see what it detected. It does do a good job of detected things up close and tracking it. I have a dual band wifi router (2.4 and 5 ghz). On initial installation and hookup to my wifi, I had to go into my router settings and shut off the 5ghz to get connected so it would have no choice but to connect to the 2.4ghz. Once connected I went back in and enabled my 5ghz band so my other devices could function.

A good addition to my Arlo Pro 2 cameras. The battery seems to last a very long time which is nice. If it had a wired powered option that would've been an excellent product, thus, my rating of 4 vs. 5 stars.
