As a previous owner of Arlo security system, i decided to upgrade and once again purchased the newer version of Arlo. I chose to go to Best Buy again, because they always treat me with great respect and have A+ quality associates working for them.

Easy setup and easy install. App and items work great.

These are super glitchy, and there is no real tech support, just FAQ's, meaning I have to figure it out on my own. I have one set up in my carport, about 70ft from my brand new router. That camera often just shuts down, forcing me to reboot it about once a week. The one at my front door is 10' from my router, and it either doesn't record, or records random clips of nothing. They worked fine for the first month or so, then just started getting glitchy. Troubleshooting took forever, especially considering I work full-time, and have to travel often, so I don't really have the time to troubleshoot when, say, a camera stops working while I'm in Ohio. So of course, I can't return them now, since the time expired.

Better than I expected. Price was reasonable. Easy to install.

I am very happy, very good camera, very clear picture

The setup is fairly simple. The quality of the cameras are decent with a strong connection, however, the sound and visual fidelity starts to drop significantly if the signal is anything but full. The battery life is not the best, mine discharge completely within 2 weeks with moderate use. For the price I expected a little more, but hopefully these issues can be fixed with a software update.

Got it on sale at 399.99. I also own the Arlo Pro 2. Love that this has the built in spotlight and comes with the battery charger and spare battery. Best Buy recently dropped the price another $50 and I was able to contact them for a price match, receiving the difference as credit to my original payment method. Service A++!

This is a great camera and is easily a five star rating for many applications. I am using the camera to monitor the outside of my house where the two garage doors are located. I can easily see the two garage doors as well as the entire 75 foot driveway and an outlying storage building. The detection range is far in excess of the App 25 feet listed in the installation instructions. This camera consistently triggers when a vehicle passes my driveway which is about 100 feet from the camera location. Trigger speed is unbelievably quick and easily catches even a dog that runs through the detection field. It accurately identifies whether an animal, person or vehicle triggered it. Resolution is fantastic and images are crystal clear. I deducted one star because the volume is very low when trying to speak to someone who has triggered the camera and in my case the person will never hear me at all unless he or she is standing right under the camera itself. I can hear people speaking out to about 25 feet but they can not hear me unless they are listening closely. The LED used for illumination at night is very limited for my use but will illuminate both garage doors but just barely. In fairness this camera seems to be intended for use near an entrance door where the subject is within a few feet of the camera. In this case both the illumination and speaker volume would probably be adequate. Battery life seems to be excellent if the camera is only turned on when away from home or at night after bedtime when family members are not coming and going. I really like this camera and have not received any compensation for my review.

Fog up with dew but otherwise great would recommend

I upgraded and the new Arlo Pro 4 cameras are great.

Good quality footage but batteries do not hold up. They die way faster than what is stated they would. They also lag on real time footage. They could be a lot better for the price point compared to the other companies in the market.

Excellent Quality live and recorded feeds were really nice

Great product for security of home or business. Great picture and will let you know on your phone when there is activity. Battery life needs to be improved as it does need to be charged often if there is a busy spot.
