Great cameras, no need for a base station. Paid for themselves inside of a week when I caught someone trying to break into my and my neighbors vehicles. Super clear day time and very clear nighttime picture/video. App is very easy to use as well.

The battery life in this product is horrible. I have to charge the battery every few days and this is not good.

One of the best cameras! I have Arlo for a while now and decided to go with them again and it did not disappoint for sure! I love this security camera and really beats all type of weather. I highly recomended

Good quality. Easy to install. They pick up any movement so expect lots of notices on your phone.

Overall good camera. Good battery life. Don't know why it doesn't connect to a hub. On one hand it is good, but on the other you have to buy their service package to save video recordings. Works well with my other pro 2s. Love the wireless nature of it

Works really well. Get animal vs person alarms. Would prefer a better mount as the one that comes with it just has a single screw. Also it would be nice if you could charge the module outside of the protective case because you have to remove the case from the mount every time to charge it

The cameras are good and I like that they run on wifi rather than an Arlo hub but I'm a little disappointed in the image quality. The app is still the old app which is good because it lets you use old cameras in the same security system but a let down because the Arlo app is a little slow.

Arlo – Pro 4 Spotlight Camera A small compact wireless camera that is super easy to setup. It is nice to have security cameras that don’t require a professional installer to put in. As long as you have a good WiFi signal this little cam does a good job. Setup can be done with direct WiFi or adding it to an Arlo Hub. Both work well and the camera will integrate with the other various Arlo camera’s not requiring that you upgrade the whole system to the pro 4. The use of the Android phone app is simple and straightforward. There is also an apple app for those with the Apple phone. The included mount is a magnetic mount which in my opinion is good indoors but outdoors I would go with an adjustable screw-down mount [optional]. The color night vision with the spotlight is quite nice and the 2k gives pretty good video or still shots. It also has a built-in siren that you can choose to be a manual or auto-trigger. It has a speaker and a mic that you can use as well. Current options in subscription mode are for smart alerts that can be set for People, Vehicles, Animals, or general motion and there are smoke /co alarm audio or general audio triggers. There is also a smart package Detection feature. The smart triggers are pretty good at discrimination for the various categories. One has a great variety of options to allow the user to set up things including activity zones, and different audio settings, including audio triggers, live streaming [ I would suggest you have it hooked up to outdoor-rated power or a solar panel ( both optional)] I am still working on the trying to get the activity zone to only trigger things inside of the zone – it could require an update or I may still need to tweak the zone more. One does have more points of tweaking the zone box with the Hub rather than just WiFi hookup. 6 month battery life is claimed by Arlo – it is dependent on how high the traffic is and how much the led light is used. I have used mine for a week in a moderate traffic area, along with tweaking how it is used and already I am down to 46% battery life. The charge cable is a magnetic mount which makes things easy. One can also buy a spare battery (optional) This is a pretty good wireless battery-operated security cam -Especially for the money. Is it perfect – No but I am sure there will be various updates to tweak the system as more people give Arlo feedback. The subscription cost is reasonable, and I would suggest looking into using this option

USELESS I HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERY EVERY 2-3 DAYS great range and picture but battery dies every 2-3 days even the one that has little activity dies within 7 days essentially useless

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with these cameras. I read so many great things, but on my particular installation, I have to rely on the "Activity Zones" working as advertised, and mine don't. The cameras are constantly picking up vehicles driving down the road, people walking by, all sorts of things well outside the activity zones, and I even turned the sensitivity way down. As a result, I am getting notifications all throughout the day and night, crying wolf, for things outside of the zone. No surprise that the batteries are only lasting a week between charges.

Bought this model by mistake really recommend getting arlo ultra 2.

I'd ordered wrong items. - not compatible with my cameras - they gave me the bad news - told me to return items to the store and reschedule The Geeks to come back.

This was a deal of the day so I thought I’d give it ago and I’m glad I did.

This is a good deal from Best Buy even better than buying the cam from Arlo.

2K footage not as good as 4K, returned this item and bought the 4K cameras.

I have been using and owned Arlo wireless cameras since the very first ones that came out with batteries and continue to use them in my home BUT this has to be the camera I wouldn’t recommend because we purchased for the camera and spotlight combo and have it in a great location for our home outdoors BUT the battery on this camera completely sucks. Within a day or two of having it fully charged at 100% it dies and I haven’t been able to use it and have full use of it since we purchased it. I will stick to my other cameras as their battery lives last a lot longer than this camera’s life.
