Disappointing considering the cost of this camera system.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great battery life. 1 out of the 4 i bought was DOA, Good Picture way to many notifications and you can choose not to have the camera not get excited about animals people or motion ie a cat in the office if you dont want to know about 100 times a night. which is great but arlo doesnt care about your wishes and still notifies you 100 times about the cat rolling around on the floor playing

The batteries do run out quickly and recommend buying an extra battery. I brought the solar panel to go with mine, but no...do not buy. However, easy to connect and work great. You will need a subscription with these if you want to keep your recordings. Not expensive.

Love the "Black Finish" and the Ease of installing the Battery & Mounting. What I like the most is the "Spotlight" that comes on when someone activates the Motion Detector - Big deterrent for theft & vandalism!
