Viewing camera in real time, on demand is hit or miss; 80% of the time I have to reboot the Hub in order to see live stream from cameras. Upside, easy to install. Hub helps you avoid their subscription service (but it is lousy) Avoid Arlo products. Not great.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike some other brands I have tried, the pairing of this camera with my modem was easily accomplished following the on-line instructions. By adding the Arlo solar panel the camera even continues working even in sub-zero North Dakota temperatures! Recommend buying the optional screw together wall mount as the magnetic mount the camera comes with is not strong enough for outdoor use in high wind outside areas.

One of the best outdoor camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first experience with security carteras, so I don’t have anything to compare. I chose the Arlo after googling the best Security Cameras. I wasn’t looking for anything super expensive but still high quality. Easy to use and setup. I did place my cameras low, so I could easily reach them to charge. I personally live off the road in a rural area. I bought the cameras to protect my dogs/puppies from people pulling down my drive unannounced. I also got a motion detector alarm. Since my driveway is long, this gives me time to look at the cameras to see if a vehicle set off the motion detector. It’s not Arlo brand and doesn’t work with the cameras, but something else on Amazon. I was worried about the range of the cameras but it picks up motions, especially vehicles which was the most important. The field of view at the edge of the camera, where vehicles drive and it picks them every time. Battery life isn’t something I’m too concerned about, but I also can’t comment on the length since I’ve only had the cameras up for less than a week. Night vision is okay, not my biggest concern. I have no experience with tech support for this company.
