We have 2 sets of these Arlo cameras. We like being able to keep an eye on our property with it. Just wished it wasn’t always trying to buffer. We've increased our internet package and it still does it.

Works well, good connection & image quality. Better place somewhere with easy access, because the battery will need to be changed frequently. Plan is needed for usable footage & security. Otherwise you'll be limited to live footage only, no back up whatsoever.

Good Bestbuy exclusive Kit and smooth experience

I bought the kit on sale and was surprised for the special BB kit and pricing. Overall, it was an easier setup experience than I thought. So far a month into it, all three (and a video doorbell bought separately) work well, and the app have been clean and smooth too. So I give 5 stars for both experience and pricing. Things to watch out: 1. WiFi signal strength, one camera outside garage has only 2 out of 4 bar on signal, so there is a noticeable delay about 2-3 seconds for alert. 2. If home WiFi is down for extended time, the cameras will keep searching and draw much battery power, which happened once for me and dried all three camera overnight. But, it only happened once.

Works great! Easy to set up once we got through the first one. Only issue was not aware had to pay additional at set up and support is overseas so hard to understand and kept getting disconnected. So must have patience at start up

Needed extra cameras. Much better than my older Arlo Pro 2 cameras. Spotlight illuminates better than expected. Just remember to disable your VPN when setting up; you can turn it back on after.

Have had them up and running for a little over a week now. The things I don’t like: Not being able to delete multiple videos at a time on my iPhone and it taking so long to start live or a video. Otherwise, they work great! Purchased the solar panels as well!

This was really easy to set up and install. I did end up buying the solar panels as the battery seemed to die quickly due the number of cars and people in and out of my driveway. I wish the "key" to remove it was different. I lost mine and now it's a pain. But that's on me

I had an Arlo system several years ago, and I'm completely satisfied with how much better this set up is. Rechargeable batteries are a huge plus. Love that it has a spotlight feature and has the option between color and black-and-white during night operation. The base is WAY more theft-proof than my last one, with a special tool needed to access the screws. If you are on the fence about it, I 10/10 recommend this system!

Easy to set up and use. Good app but too much upselling. For such a high price, app should be more polished. For example, camera motion sensitivity settings don't persist resulting in too many meaningless recordings.

We currently have a security system that we will leave unnamed. It's terrible. So I went on the hunt for a few cameras that we could place in the areas that the systems cameras don't catch. That's where Arlo came into the picture. While very expensive (in my opinion), the quality is amazing. These blow our systems cameras out of the water. I do like that they each have their own light & if we wanted, we can talk through them. The only real issue I had was getting them connected to our Wifi; I'm a techy person & had great difficulty. It was frustrating. But once we finally got them connected & put up, LOVE! Can't wait to replace all of our cameras with these.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Excellent video quality. App is easy to use but not as user friendly. Set notifications to detect people only but would still get notified for movements such as trees blowing in wind. Batteries would last for 2 weeks due to the constant motion detection.

I have tried nest, ring, and hard wired security cameras. These are by far the worst of the bunch. Among the many probelms like, battery life, time to connect, long response and warning time, paid service, terrible mounting, The worst problem is how every time you have to change the batteries and sometimes between you have to reconnect and most of the time remove the camera from your app and then reinstall it fully. I put these cameras out of reach of people, so they cannot walk off with them. If you do the same then they probably are super easy to remove, bring near router, scan QR code 30 times because it never connects quickly, then troubleshoot 29 times to try and get them to be recognized. Then go put them back in whatever out of reach spot you put them in. Ultimately you have so many better options that are a lot more inexpensive with better features, subscription service, and less hassle. In this case more expensive is definitely not better.
