Great home cameras without all the wiring. You need steady Wi-Fi to optimize cameras. Still waiting to see how they hold up vs super cold weather during second winter installed at our place

Battery dies in high traffic in less than 24 hrs. In low traffic at best a week. Strangest feature is having to smash the face of the camera into the housing after changing the battery. I say smash because it’s quite resistant to click in place. Such an odd feature to have to push the face of the camera where the lens is located. I like the locking feature, but my high traffic cam needs to be changed in less than a day so it’s a pain to unlock it and pull the face off and smash it back in everyday. The camera when you unlock it barely comes out btw. Nearly every changing have to dig my nails around the edge to help it “pop” out, The back of the camera with the pivoting knob does not come off. Had to cut the Arlo skins for them to fit around the knob. Bitterly cold today and they are on so that is plus because my older Arlo cameras are all off because it’s too cold except for the corded ones. So that’s just the battery can’t withstand the temp in those. I would not recommend these cameras solely because of having to smash the faces of cameras in place.

The cameras it self are awesome, but the battery life SUCKS!!! I am constantly changing out the batteries and I hate worrying about if my cameras are charged. If you can buy a solar panel to go with this, then you are golden.

I bought the starter pack along with a 3 camera wireless pack.although the cameras work very well,battery life sucks! I have them set to about the lowest settings for active recordings, the batteries dont last more than 48 hrs.if i could redo the purchase,id definitely get hard wired.as for recordings,they are saved to a cloud service for 15 bucks a month for up to 5 cameras,almost 3 bucks for each additional camera.i was more pleased with my older nightowl system."upgraded" because the nightowl dvr took a crap.looking to buy another dvr or get mine repaired.

I got these for my mom and they work awesome! Both of us get notifications when someone comes to her door or her shed

Easy installation. Cameras capture good pictures, currently unable to read license plates, need to relocate cameras to enable. Notifications work good. Solar panels keeping batteries charged. So far we are happy with Arlo.

Camera battery only survives around two days in a higher traffic area, the stand/part that connects the camera to a wall is cheaply made and everything but the base of the only working camera fell off during heavy wind, two of the three cameras wouldn’t connect to wifi at all(so I have been unable to use them). I 100% regret this purchase, but it was my mistake as I had a previous Arlo set, and those didn’t work at all. I should have returned them, but never really got around to it. Definitely would not purchase again.

We are adding these to our existing Arlo pro 4 and I love how easy they are to not only set up but to use on a daily basis. We had added solar panels to all our cameras and could not be happier. The only time we have adelay on the screeen is when our internet slows down but thats no fault of Arlo.

I was going back and forth on deciding if I should go with Arlo or another big brand of security camera. I ended up going with Arlo and I'm so glad I did. Arlo is easy to install and get up and running. The video and sound quality are excellent. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Very easy to follow instructions. I was able to get it all up in running in about an hour. Easy use system.

I bought these cameras to keep an idea on my house. The batteries meant I didn’t need to run power to the cameras so that was a great plus. The images are clear. I get great alerts. Works without a hub since the cameras connect via WiFi

Easy set up, long battery life, good quality videos!

This was really a good deal, $250 for three cameras with an extra battery. I replaced three of the initial pro cameras that I bought years ago. Now I have color video at night with higher resolution. It was nice to get mounts with the cameras, however, the mounts weren’t as good as the ones that I bought with my original cameras and I can’t use the original mounts without buying a new housing for each camera.

Customer service answered all of my questions before buying the Arlo Pro 4. However, I wasn't aware that wi-fi (2.4) is needed for these to operate, which limited where these could be placed. That said, even if you do have wi-wi present, it might not want to pick up on the signal. One location worked out fine and the install was relatively up front after downloading the Arlo app. The other location for the security camera on the other hand does not want to connect and operate (even though we get good wi-fi connection there.) Tried trouble shooting through the app with no luck. So we have 2 out of 3 security cameras right now in use. Because of this - 3 stars.

Cameras are very easy to set up. The picture and audio are really great!

At first I was concerned since this is so different from 1st gen arlo’s. However after a month of use oh my these are awesome. So the new security key setup it really handy. The object detection is spot on, like animal/car/person. The quality is great, and the extra battery allows quickly swapping when needed. Awesome stuff Arlo!

The camera work very well and are easy to setup. My only irritation is having to change out the battery pretty often. There is a solar panel that can be purchased, but I haven't wanted to pay for it at this point.
