Had an attempt to steal from a Pod in my driveway. I needed a solution to monitor the Pod. These Arlo cameras provide alerts, allow for easy configuration to alert me if it is an animal, people, or vehicles within the area. I have more peace of mind now. I bought this less than an hour after the event and after talking to another customer at Best Buy who was adding on to his system. I have 3 cameras now and will be adding 3 more and all with solar.

Has everything we were looking for! Picture quality is good too! Only downside is the battery life doesn’t last long. Going to get a solar panel for it soon.

1). It links up with my Pro and Pro2 base station, so I didn't have to pay a monthly subscription for this Pro 4. 2). The camera does not have magnet built into its back like the pro 2 does. The magnet is on the mount that comes with it. 3). It's a great camera for the price.

It worked well for what was needed. It takes care of all the needs and wants anyone should need at the price bought. Job well done.

Camera needs to come with some directions. Camera works great. The moving of Camera on supports is limited.

Batteries die frequently. When I looked into a "wireless" system, I asked the sales rep if it was worth it or if I should get wired because I don't want to replace batteries (or recharge them) every few weeks. He assured me this was the way to go and they last "a while". Well the batteries die every few weeks, I even went down to the lower-quality video and created extremely restricted zones (that are supposed only to pick up my car in the driveway) but that had no effect. After purchasing the extremely expensive Arlo-Pro 4 system, I'm unable to return it since the time expired to return and now I have to purchase an expensive solar panel for a camera and an extension cord for the other. This is absolutely ridiculous. I called customer support but they basically told me it is what it is and nothing they can do, said "maybe it's a battery", well I have 4 batteries, and its the same issue with all 4, very poor quality and customer service (arlo customer service).

Works quite well and app is simple to use. Battery life seems pretty good too.

I tested several and found this is the best, although the battery only can last about three months, not 6 months.

I have had Arlo cameras since they came out as my home would be hard to hard wire a system. They have always worked well. However, these worked fine for about 10 weeks and then I get motion notices on my phone but no videos to look at. Looking online, it appears that you may have to have a subscription now to view your videos from these cameras. I have never had a subscription with the 2 previous versions of Arlo cameras and wouldn't have updated to these if I had realized that these would require a monthly subscription. Read the fine print. It seems like a bait and switch by Arlo. And good luck trying to reach Arlo by phone! I would have returned them but because they worked fine for several months, it is too late for that now.
