The Best Name In Security Camera's You'll Ever Need !!!

Honestly, these cameras are no better off than a $40 camera from Amazon. You cannot tell that it’s 2K and night vision is average. I have two $40 cameras from Amazon and they work actually a little better, save the money and buy an offbrand name. This is an honest review you will find the same thing that I did.

Skip buying the Arlo Essential set and pay the extra money for the Arlo Pro 4! I had purchased the Essential set and had it for two weeks when I had to return the set. There were so many issues with the essentials from a screeching sound on 2 cameras to not detecting even vehicles near the camera. The Arlo Pro 4 is amazing! You can see things clearly at night with the HDR & spotlight. You can do a live stream in the middle of the night with the light engaged and it is so clear and precise that you would think it is daylight. This set picks up more movement and vehicles and people than my neighbors who own the Essential. Not only does this cover a wider range than other cameras, I have had them installed almost a month, with MANY alerts and live streaming and they are still almost fully charged. The Arlo Pro 4 is definitely worth the extra price.

Poor poor poor! This camera along with the Arlo system is just poor. Disconnects randomly so you can’t view live stream. Doesn’t pick up motion regardless of set activity zones. When it does detect motion it does it late. So if Amazon is delivering the camera will pick up when Amazon drives away and misses the entire part of it driving up. The lag between receiving a notification and actually going to the library to watch the clip is horrible. It takes so long to get to the clip that you miss entirely what was happening in real time. God forbid it was something serious! Also the Arlo support is horrible. Hard to get to someone. Hard for them to understand on going issues and never gets a resolution. The only one thing I like about the camera is the full 160 angle view. That’s it!

These are the best security cameras i have come across. Perfect for outside and inside security. Very dependable and great sale prices.

I really like the cameras. Good view and sound quality for the most part. However, as of late we are having issues with one of the cameras that went offline. I am taking it in this week to see if BB has any suggestions as I have gone through all of the steps for troubleshooting this item. I do have the Geek Squad protection plan, which I highly suggest just in case you ever do have an issue. It is well worth the money.

These are super glitchy, and there is no real tech support, just FAQ's, meaning I have to figure it out on my own. I have one set up in my carport, about 70ft from my brand new router. That camera often just shuts down, forcing me to reboot it about once a week. The one at my front door is 10' from my router, and it either doesn't record, or records random clips of nothing. They worked fine for the first month or so, then just started getting glitchy. Troubleshooting took forever, especially considering I work full-time, and have to travel often, so I don't really have the time to troubleshoot when, say, a camera stops working while I'm in Ohio. So of course, I can't return them now, since the time expired.
