Quality is very impressive but low battery life and it doesnt connect right away to the application. I bought a ring doorbell and in minutes everything was set. But this is terrible i tried to return them because its utterly terrible but i cant. Very pricy and complete trash

I upgraded and the new Arlo Pro 4 cameras are great.

This is a great camera and is easily a five star rating for many applications. I am using the camera to monitor the outside of my house where the two garage doors are located. I can easily see the two garage doors as well as the entire 75 foot driveway and an outlying storage building. The detection range is far in excess of the App 25 feet listed in the installation instructions. This camera consistently triggers when a vehicle passes my driveway which is about 100 feet from the camera location. Trigger speed is unbelievably quick and easily catches even a dog that runs through the detection field. It accurately identifies whether an animal, person or vehicle triggered it. Resolution is fantastic and images are crystal clear. I deducted one star because the volume is very low when trying to speak to someone who has triggered the camera and in my case the person will never hear me at all unless he or she is standing right under the camera itself. I can hear people speaking out to about 25 feet but they can not hear me unless they are listening closely. The LED used for illumination at night is very limited for my use but will illuminate both garage doors but just barely. In fairness this camera seems to be intended for use near an entrance door where the subject is within a few feet of the camera. In this case both the illumination and speaker volume would probably be adequate. Battery life seems to be excellent if the camera is only turned on when away from home or at night after bedtime when family members are not coming and going. I really like this camera and have not received any compensation for my review.

Great product for security of home or business. Great picture and will let you know on your phone when there is activity. Battery life needs to be improved as it does need to be charged often if there is a busy spot.

Pretty good item is long is you don't pass the distance then it is blurry

When I purchased this Arlo set, I was excited to use it and protect my home. To my disappointment, after I set up just two cameras, I realized that the video quality was terrible. You couldn't even read a license plate number let alone see the face of anyone who is intruding. It's completely useless. I went on the forums and contacted Arlo support and they suggested changing the video quality in the app in exchange for battery life, which I did. Still, the video quality showed no visual improvements and it was more pixelated than a Mario game from 1990. It's important to note that I do have a mesh network that has full coverage to all cameras at a 500/500 speed. Continually, I even tried using the recorded video as a sample instead of the live stream and it was equally as bad. This camera advertises 2K but I'm getting 480p if even that. Sure, the image size might be 2K, but it's a blown up 480p video – thus resulting in a blurry video. Continually, the app was so primal. I could set modes, but I couldn't set any custom modes unless I had logged in and made them on my computer. Furthermore, I couldn't get the siren to activate with motion unless I made a custom mode online. My final pet peeve with this camera system is the fact that Arlo won't allow you to use HomeKit unless you buy a base station. This used to be possible with some software called Homebridge, but it seems like that has been permanently disabled with 2FA and Arlo doesn't allow you to turn that off either. Seems like corporate money scheme to me. You just spent $500 on their cameras, and they want you to spend more to connect an already-web-connected camera to a base station in order to use it's "security" features on your TV.

I like the Arlo 4 camera. It has a good picture. I have a few Arlo products and for the most part they are very good. However, it is always a challenge to get it connected to the wifi network. Eventually, they all connected but never on the first (or second) try. Only other problem is the latency. It is 5-10 seconds behind real time. Not a major problem. I have the solar panels for all my cameras which are fantastic!

It's motion sensing camera. Only starts recording when it senses motion. It also will start based on noise too, but I have that function turned off. App is simple but easy to use. Works what I wanted

The quality of the Video is not all that good at night time.

This is my second set and I am very pleased with the results. The WiFi, recording, the clarity is great. You adjust your settings to suit your specific situation. Very easy to use.

The camera battery life is horrible lucky to get two days off of them connection issues on and off don’t waste your money
