This has never worked. Contacted Arlo because I had problems with setting up the camera and doorbell and they helped with that problem. Basically found out that this is not supported and I was passed around four times before being told they would call me back. They didn’t. Sent me an email that said an advanced person would get back to me. Never heard back. Called and they said they show an open ticket for an advanced person to call back. That was six weeks ago. Read and believe the negative reviews on this one.

the sound coming off this chime is pathetic, I have OLD cell phones that have a louder speaker, This really defeats the purpose of having this as your Chyme! MAKE IT LOUDER

This is an accessory to the Arlo Doorbell when your current doorbell is not compatible to the system.

Not very useful did work as it should. Easy to install and hook up to the network

I bought the chime to work with the doorbell but I decided to return. I needed doorbell camera not just audio doorbell

I had hard time set it up or sync with Arlo door bell

You need this for the alro door bell. I has it for about 3 months and had to reconnect every other month as it unpaired from the network too many times. I used this as it was wireless, but sad to say it was a very poor performing product.

Store sales personnel advised me to use this product after I had Arlo video doorbell installed and it would ring my existing door chime The problem is ARLO they released a new product (video doorbell) before it was ready Junk.

First one didn't work. Spent a ton of time on the phone with them. They sent me a new one....guess what..this one what connect either. Worthless and time consuming. Reconsidering my whole Arlo system.

I love my camera system however the doorbell is horrible, don’t add it, go to Home Depot and get a wireless doorbell. The arlo doorbell was a after thought and needs to go back to the drawing board.

Can’t connect to the doorbell device. Perhaps this product it okay but the doorbell device is not. Working with company.

Had to return it, would. To sync with camera router, even with online tech support with Arlo.

My fault or do you need to have rain how doorbell ring to put into you otherwise how do I have useless

The chime isn't loud enough to be heard throughout the whole house. For the price I'd expect you could at least control the volume. You can buy a regular chime at a Home Store and connect it to the Arlo Doorbell and it would work better IMHO.

Everything in my house is a netgear product and runs great... besides this. The audio for this is enough for a single level with a minimal amount sound going on. The quality of the audio also is quite disappointing. It's either distortion from being turned up too loud or for whatever reason a network related issue with quality. Would not recommend this product which is not like me to say. If i hadn't already ripped out my old doorbell i would've used the old bell.

It takes 3-5 seconds to ring and when it does the chime crackles and pops like damaged analog record. I'm not sure how it is possible to have a product who's entire purpose is to play a simple sound do so in such a mediocre way. The only reason I've not returned it is because I don't have hardwired chime and this is my only option (other than the phone which takes much longer to ring and is only mostly reliable). I expected more from the Arlo ecosystem.
