Video quality is really good. Easy to install. App is easy to use. I love that you can have the doorbell also ring on your phone like a phone call and you can view the camera and even have a two way conversation.

I had the Arlo first-gen doorbell that worked reasonably well in the early days, albeit with an annoying delay if trying to communicate with someone. Over time the first-gen model’s performance degraded to the point it no longer was triggered when someone walked up, with seemingly no resolution available from Arlo. I bought this model when it went on sale, and so far it is working fine. The base it mounts into is not the same as the base for the first-gen model, so be aware you will have to uninstall the old base and install this doorbell’s base.

I wanted a doorbell camera for my mother-in-law now that she is alone. However, she is slightly technologically challenged. What I like best about this doorbell camera is the fact that when someone rings the doorbell it rings her phone as if she's getting a phone call which she is used to using, but as soon as she clicks answer it immediately switches to the camera of the doorbell and she can see who is standing at the door. She doesn't have to look for the app or click anything else so it is very easy for her to use.

Ive owned this camera twice already and unfortunately i just moved and my landlord didnt sllow me to put thjs camera up. However the picture is clear and the quality is top notch. The only difficult part is mounting is to get the perfect angle. Dont pass this camera up if its on sale.

Pair this with Arlo Chime and you have a traditional as well as smart doorbell. Good quality camera and recording. My only gripe is the batter life. It seemed to die in about 30 days which seems a little excessive.

Video quality is miles better than the Ring camera I was using. Also better at detecting motion.

The recognition capabilities of the Arlo doorbell are so much better than the Ring doorbell I had previously. I have a doggie door so my four-legged family member can come and go out the door whenever he wants and EVERY time my Ring doorbell would tell me there is a person outside my door. The first few times seeing this are frightening then eventually it was like I was ignoring all the alerts from Ring. With Arlo I know a dog is an animal and people are recognized as expected.

Really high quality, only issue is constant charging but my partner feels more safe and likes the mobile app

I love the Arlo 2K doorbell camera! I originally had the Arlo Essential Doorbell, The 2K video quality is superb! Even at night! The installation was easy. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Love this doorbell system. Previously had a ring camera, but switched to Arlo camera system (recommended), so added the Arlo doorbell camera as well. Easy connection, long lasting battery and high quality video. Only drawback is the subscription charges I pay for my Arlo ecosystem, but I believe the Doorbell can be used as a standalone, without additional monthly fees.
