I wish that was specified in the item listing bc I genuinely didn’t realize that this item is not compatible with actually a wide variety of the Arlo Essential Indoor Cameras. Double-check this info in Arlo’s website before you spend the money.

Since this was the cheapest Arlo hub I was worried that it would not have as strong of a connection switching from wi-fi, but it is as strong if not stronger. Works as hoped.

Unfortunately when we bought our cameras we were told we did not need the base station for them. Well an additional cost later. It does work well.

I have tried 32gb, 64gb, 2TB, and 4TB drives of a variety of USB drives. The SmartHub says they are formatted and ready to use, but when try to use Camera to use USB drive, it says something is wrong. I have spent over 4 hours looking at Arlo’s website, forums, q&a’s and piddling around with it and still no luck. I would call this a paperweight at this point, but this hub is not heavy enough to be a paperweight. Luckily, I have time to return it.
