Battery life is a complete joke!

The battery is a total joke! Arlo customer service is no help with tips like "try adjusting your video settings " and "narrow the video capture area " why would i buy a 4k camera and turn it down to 2k and point it at the ground so it doesn't take any videos? Great ideas! Im sure if I put it in the closet the battery life would be great! Bottom line is just get a solar panel and or hardwire the power source from the start or you will be charging it every week.

Good improvement over past generations

The motion sensor light is a huge plus. Only drawback is that you have to subscribe after the trial period but as long as it keeps working, I’m happy.

I have several older models and this is by far the best clarity & wide angle coverage. The only issue I have is recording it for 7 days. I thought it was free (at 1080 quality) but was wrong. It is not free after the trail period. Only the Arlo 2 is free (7 days only).

I caught it on sale, and with free installation ( before that was no longer available with the new lower total tech rate) I like Arlo. I’ve added this camera to the four I’ve already had for three years with no problems..
